We are expecting a great winter season, book your ski trip now! Mid Week Discounts If you love to ski at Sierra At Tahoe this is a great cabin for you. Depending on traffic and what time you leave home you can be at the lodge in under 20 minutes. This cozy 3 bedroom cabin is located in the great South Lake Tahoe neighborhood of Meyers. This is a great location to use as a home base for all your Tahoe adventures: hiking, biking, skiing, golf, playing at the Lake, playing at Tahoe Paradise Park just to mention a few. The community of Meyers has a few great restaurants and a full service store (Holiday Market) so no need to drive into town if you don't want to. This cabin has a fully fenced backyard, deck area to relax and BBQ dinner. (new deck in the backyard) The first floor features an open living area, full kitchen, full bath and one bedroom. The living room has a gas fireplace, tv and lots of cozy seating. It is a great spot to gather the family together. The dining room table seats 6 and there are bar stools at the kitchen counter. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and a full bath. Bedroom 1 Downstairs Queen bed Bedroom 2 Upstairs King bed and two twins Bedroom 3 Upstairs King bed Covered Carport Spring Summer Fall- Like to play golf, this cabin is very close to the Lake Tahoe Golf Course and Tahoe Paradise Golf Course. Like to fish? Head to Echo Lake or Lake Tahoe. Tahoe Paradise park is nearby with Wednesday Local's favorite farmers market and Sunday concerts in the summer. The deck in the backyard is a great place to sit back and relax. The El Dorado County vacation rental ordinances strictly limit and monitor occupancy and the # of vehicles. Quiet hours are strictly enforced 10:00pm-8:00am Fines will be imposed upon guest of record for any violations of the ordinances. While staying here, please make sure to follow local ordinances (noise/maximum occupancy and maximum vehicles on site)We also require a signed rental agreement for every reservation and the person signing must be 25 years of age, must be staying at the property and have a copy of the signed rental agreement with them during their stay. El Dorado County Permit # 072841 TOT # 63079 Maximum Number of Occupants 6, children 5 and under are not counted, occupancy rules in effect at all times. Maximum Number of Vehicles: 4 must be parked in the carport or the driveway, no street or dirt parking allowed Trash: All trash must be placed in the metal bear proof box adjacent to the driveway When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared. Our snow removal crews work every day, but we have no control over the county road snowplows that clear the roads. 4WD and or chains are always recommended. If you come in a small, low-profile vehicle you may have difficulties. Tahoe has experiences frequent power outages during snow, rain, wind events. There was plenty of room for us all together in the living room and dining room and prepare meals in the kitchen. The kids had fun in the backyard, which was huge! And it was a short drive to the grocery store and restaurants. An area that would enhance our stay next time is newer/updated sheets for the beds and a new mattress on the full size bed upstairs. All the comforts of home. Michelle the manager communicated well. Wonderful to sit on back or front decks and take in the forested area in morning, sipping a hot beverage. Great location and, for most part, quiet neighborhood, except for the nearby neighbor who insisted on banging on his roof until sundown each night, and the next door neighbor lady who decided to talk loudly outside around 2am one night (note: if you're somewhat allergic to animal dander, don't pet her dog - immediate hives). Not sure prop mgmnt folks can control that. Also, know there's little soundproofing between 1st and 2nd floor, so those below can hear most sounds from 2nd floor directly above. Upon check-in, we found the rental to not quite meet what we felt was presented in the photos for the following reasons… - The yard was not maintained - Several rows of roof shingles were missing over the from door and several hanging off the front of the house, not a good impression when we arrived :( - Plus nextdoor neighbor property super sketchy - The back deck was completely demolished with random construction gear in the yard, leaving no comfortable 4th of July patio grilling/seating. Big bummer. Unfortunately, it was not comfortable to spend time outside of the cabin due to unkempt yard. The front deck was not inviting, a few dusty plastic chairs and no other furnishings. One week before our arrival, there was a quick mention of back demo in email. Nothing we could do at that point on a holiday weekend! - Thick cobwebs in the beams above the bed in the master, felt dusty/dingy upstairs. Surprisingly, zero lake towels provided nor any useful items for a day at the lake, such as a cooler, umbrella, etc. Not having to buy these sorts of things (for family travel) SHOULD be a perk of staying at a rental home versus a hotel. A fan in each room would go a long way in the summertime as this property does not have A/C. We found 1, but there are 3 bedrooms. All beds comfortable, except the full in the 2nd room upstairs (too hard). Small investments by the owner would make this rental much better. Thx! ##### Yvonne C.
