The elevation makes for comfortable cool, but not cold, nights. The central sky light is spectacular at night with so many stars. It is calm and quiet and beautiful with various flowers. But it is easily accessed from Kona South Point and Volcanoes National Park. This was our first trip not staying with family locally, so finding this home nearby was perfect. The home was so comfy and included everything you’d need to make your stay enjoyable. It was private and excluded and we already miss going to sleep to the sound of the coquis and waking up to the chirping birds of the forest.
