"This could not have been a more wonderful stay. The manor house is beautiful as are the grounds. The deck overlooks the lake with a lovely path that leads to a dock. Breakfast on the deck was simply joyful. The rooms are well appointed and very clean and tidy. Breakfast was home cooked with fresh and local ingredients. Bring a bottle of wine with you for an evening taking in the fresh air and lake views. The owners are lovely and have thought of everything their guests will need. This is a must...

"Heron Dance cottage was a quiet and peaceful getaway. In a great location, this cottage was well outfitted for preparing meals, contained comfortable furniture and the bed was firm. The views out to the Lake were exceptional. The landing and the way down to the Lake made for easy swimming. Jan was friendly and approachable. The neighborhood roads facilitated daily walks. We highly recommend this property."

"We booked this property to enjoy the total eclipse but got more than just a great view. The house was roomy and well-furnished with anything we could use (linens, towels, kitchen items, etc.). It was super-tidy and welcoming. The beds were a little snug but you can't expect a jumbo bed in a cabin. We would definitely visit again!"

"Can't beat the location. We were worried about logistics getting to and from the island but the proximity to the marina and communication with the host made it very easy. As others have said, water pressure is definitely very low, but it wasn't a deal breaker for our group. One of the best stays we've had!"

"Overall Cozy Cottage was nice. Bedroom is a little tight and is only a full size bed. Flooring could use a good updating. Location was great, very quiet and nice having a water view. If you want groceries, you must shop in Burlington, as Grand Isle does not have an official grocery store. Cottage is tucked away from traffic which is nice. There is so much to enjoy in this area."
