We stayed in January, and absolutely loved the snowy woods and the short hike to the lake from the property. The cabin itself is beyond cute, very comfortable and well laid out, and full of fun features like the electric fire/heater, games, a well stocked kitchen, and lots of cozy places to hang out. Everything was clean and comfortable and the host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did. There was ample room for our family of 4, were able to hike in Van Buren State Park and along Lake Michigan from the cabin and were still minutes from town to go in for dinner. We had our annual girlfriend getaway and this was perfect! I wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the area. The cabin was very clean and comfortable in a beautiful location.
