Hot tub and scenic location downtown South Haven Welcome to Relaxation Station! Brand new full renovation completed May 2025\. New modern kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, floors, and high end fixtures. Perfect location five blocks from South Beach and Kids' Corner Playground, and 4 blocks from downtown. Quiet scenic walk to both. INSIDE THE HOME: This is a three-story home (two levels plus basement) on a large ravine lot. Main level features hardwood floors, dining room, new large kitchen with breakfast bar, new half bath, and three season room with views of the large backyard. Upper level has all 3 bedrooms and new full bath. In the basement, enjoy a nice large game room complete with ping pong, foosball table, darts, and full washer and dryer for laundry. Beach wagon, beach chairs, and kid's toys are available to borrow in the garage. OUTSIDE THE HOME: Have I mentioned the location yet? Very large private lot with the perfect views of a large ravine. TP was decent quality for rental. Plenty of beach toys, games, cards etc availble. Was walking distance to some places but not as close as we expected. We should have paid better attention to that and that is on us. Ravine behind house was cool and offered close up viewing of deer, raccoons, rabbits, squirrels (even a black one) and plenty of birds. Negatives - Hot tub was dirty (DID NOT USE AS A RESULT).House was not very clean. Dusty under things, microvave handle was disguisting, and plenty of other areas that had clearly been overlooked by cleaning staff. Beds were uncomfortable, and noisy. Need new mattresses. Bathroom towels and washcloths were extremely low quality. Scratchy even. With new mattresses and towels we would consider renting this property again. It was our 6th summer week in South Haven, but 1st at this home. It work perfect for our family. Each kid had their own room and the rooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of space to prepare meals. The ping pong table in the basement got used daily in the afternoons or evenings. Such fun! The hot tub was also a wonderful spot to relax in the evenings. We grilled a couple meals, but didn't have time to use the fire pit. The house was in a great location, we walked about 4 blocks to the farmer's market on Saturday morning. Such nice produce! We also walked to the beach, that seemed like a long walk but we also had a lot of beach stuff and it was so hot that day. It was also only about 4 blocks to the beach and the kids corner park. Perfect spot for watching sunsets! The house was also close to the bike path and we biked down to Van Buern state park one day. Over all we enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and comfortable and well stocked. The toy cabinet and the game room were a hit with our 9 and 10yr old and the twenty-something children too. The young ones loved the craft set that was left for them to play with. Very thoughtful! We hardly took our cars out while in South Haven because almost everything there is to do, was a pleasant walk away. I highly recomend this rental. ##### Lymarie F. The basement ping pong table was rainy day fun. There was plenty of room for our large family & the signage answered any questions we had on cottage equipment & protocol.
