This Vintage South Haven home has all the classic features you have been looking for: A HUGE living room with wood burning fireplace, French doors, a cozy sunroom, a formal dining room, winding ornate oak stairway, oak trim, and high ceilings. It has a screened-in front porch and sits on 2 full oversized lots near downtown South Haven and the South Beach As soon as you enter, you will feel right at home. Whether it is the large kitchen, 1 of the 2 living rooms, The sunroom, which is the perfect -place for a morning cup of coffee, or an evening glass of wine, or maybe even one of the four large bedrooms. This is THE perfect place to stay in the beautiful town of South Haven. There were some problems. Some air conditioning did not work well. My bedroom was perfect because I like a cold bedroom. Other bedrooms were hot. Dressers are very old and almost not functional (drawers don't all work, had stuff in them, etc.) The beds were pretty uncomfortable. That said, the rental company was responsive when we raised these concerns. They addressed the issues as best they could during our stay and also provided compensation for the inconvenience, which we appreciated. We were able to walk easily anywhere nearby. The only negative was the lack of cooling in the home. Yes, the ad does say window air units. But I assumed there would be more than 1 on each floor for such a large home. It was a very hot and humid weekend and the upstairs and kitchen were both saunas. The windows in the kitchen didn't have screens so we couldn't open them. Was very hard to cool off and sleep during the night. If you can't put window air conditioners in every room, then I highly recommend installing some ceiling fans to help with the heat and circulation. There is 1 ceiling fan in the same room as a window unit on the main floor. Otherwise, the house itself was charming and met all our needs for this weekend. ##### Patti C.
