As soon as we walked in the door not only was is decorated nicely, it was clean...and smelled clean too. Beds were comfy with a memory foam mattress. The host went the extra mile with many personal touches like an assortment of small snacks which we used to take to the beach. My husband really appreciated the good assortment of coffee, tea, cream & sugar that was provided. They also provide beach towels, chairs & umbrellas too. The apartment is located above a store right in the heart of downtown South Haven. There is a private entrance to the apartment and we could not hear any noise from the store below. You are able to walk to most of the restaurants, bars & shops. The beach is about a 10-15 min walk or 2-3 min car ride. My only recommendations would be a small TV in the bedroom. The unit was just as pictured & described in the listing. It puts you right in the middle of everything you want to see in downtown South Haven. The only thing to keep in mind is the parking situation. We were fortunate to arrive when there was still available spots in the recommended lots, but we left town for an afternoon, and came back and nothing was available. The location was fantastic- just steps from dining and shopping and a short walk to the beach.
