The hotel was beautiful and the grounds were well-maintained. We loved the variety of food options available. The only drawback was that the pools were quite cold, which made swimming a bit challenging, especially for the kids. Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay at this resort!

Iberostar was an overpriced timeshare- like, all inclusive resort. There was nothing that garnered the price that I paid. Though clean and comfortable it was certainly overpriced. The food wasn’t good. I repeatedly called it mush from appetizers to the desserts. The only above decent meal I had while visiting was the reservation only Japanese restaurant on site. Our room was a room of poor lighting everywhere mediocrity with nowhere but the balcony that we wished to take a picture in front of. For example the mirror is in front of the refrigerator and all of the light source is coming from beside you. Outdated decor in the rooms affected the ability for a good picture as well. If we received the double upgrade we were supposed to have then the lower priced rooms are terrible.

I stayed at this location recently, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The images online do not accurately represent the reality of the place. The overall ambiance was disappointing, and I found the food to disgusting. Additionally, I encountered difficulties when I attempted to leave early; the staff were unhelpful and seemed indifferent to my concerns. Despite assurances from Expedia that I could receive a refund if the hotel agreed, Iberostar refused to accommodate my request. Furthermore, their treatment of a local driver I had arranged was unacceptable; they demanded a commission from him, causing unnecessary trouble and inconvenience. Overall, I strongly advise against staying at this establishment. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, with grime evident in the tub. It's perplexing how this place maintains a 5-star rating; it seems they may be engaging in questionable practices to boost their reviews and rating. Avoid this place at all costs!

Some of the wait staff was not very prompt. Ran out of plates, ice cream and even sodas on occasion. This is unacceptable. They should heat the pool water when temperatures are cool there. We did not use pool like we normally do because it was so so cold. The front lobby area had a very strong cleaning smell that I could not bear to smell . It was too overwhelming and made me sick to my stomach. The steak restaurant was the best. Best steak ever at any resort we have been too.

The hotel facilities are really great, the pool are, beach, amenities are I good confusing, for families the kids club is outstanding. Nevertheless the room confusing is awful, I was in two different rooms given a serious problem since they had bad maintenance of AC and rooms had a serious humidity issue, resulting in mold and gas radon smell all over the rooms, make very difficult to be comfortable with this, they put even big dehumidifier to help, but is too much mold smell. Two rooms same condition. The beds are double, not even queen, if room occupancy for a family of 4 is very uncomfortable. Internally the administration don’t care about customer satisfaction, they don’t allow you to use pool area before 9am if for a reason you leave your stuff for a minute is taken out and they don’t get any responsibility of the taken goods. They start pressure washing at 12pm next to kids pool, making all parents took kids out given the toxic smell to gasoline, and they persist for 3 hrs. The personal is not enough, on restaurants personal is hard to find, and waiting are very long. I did make a survey for the restaurant services and next day they called me at 8am to question my evaluation in a bad manner and challenging my answers, I felt stalked. The food is very good, probably for the size of hotel they need a bit more variety on specialties since are only 4 restaurants, they are not organized et all, they don’t allow reservations so restaurant waiting is way too long

Highly recommend. The staff were great and even though we had a minor issue with our room they went above and beyond to fix it. The sunset bar was awesome and the restaurants were so good. Pool is great. The only thing I didn’t like was the location of beach is very separate from pools so it’s either a beach day or pool day. However everything else was amazing and small enough to walk everywhere yet big enough to see lots of different things.

My husband and I both got food poisoning from the resort, they seemed very low staffed, service took over 2 hours in the French restaurant, the food was awful, the elevator next to our room was broken the entire time we were there, and no one went to any of the evening events which was really weird and uncomfortable.

The upper deck was great for lounging out of wind- Pools need to be heated it was too cold no one was in pool didn’t have a chance to use swim up bar - Steakhouse was closed entire time of our stay being converted to buffet not good the whole vibe at the pool was non existent no energy other Resorts are fun and engaging but not here

Check in was not good. Originally told our room was ready at 215pm, then told it would be ready at 3pm. At 330pm we finally got into room. Check out was also bad. We were not able to check out until we went back to the room and get the beach towels to turn them in. Otherwise all the staff was nice, and the restaurants were good.

The All Inclusive Property is great, but if you walk the beach anywhere there was trash everywhere. Pretty sad that the locals just let trash flow down the waterways onto the beach. Iberostar should hire the hawkers there to clean up the beach, maybe pay them $20 for every trash bag filled!

This property is outdated. There were 2 elevators of out service and I had to carry my own luggage down 2 flights of stairs. We didn't leave the property. It was too costly to cab/shuttle into PV. We rented a beach access junior suite and 3 out of the 7 days, there were construction workers with ladders on the patio in front of our slider, blocking our access to the ocean. It was very uncomfortable to have 2 men working outside on your patio. I couldn't sit in the loungers, so what is the point of upgrading my room? Iberostar promotes that they are eco-friendly have have no plastics on this site. They claim to have some high level filtration system and no bottled water is on site. I have been to Mexico 7 times. This is the only time my vacation was ruined by gastrointestinal issues from the food and/or water. I would not return to this property.

Therefore, we work with high standards and protocols regarding hygiene, health, sanitation, service and safety. Everything is continuously inspected, from our food ingredients, water, procedures, and every tool and equipment used for food handling. Regarding our water, allow us to explain that our "Vero Water" has a high technology filtration system and it uses reverse osmosis to filter the water, we can assure you that our procedures comply with the highest standards. The only downside, it's miles away from anywhere !!! and the WORST part, they don't offer any shuttle service. The sign are there but they always have an excuse as to why, the want you want is not available. Be prepared to spend a lot on taxies (400 to 900 Pesos, depending where you want to go !)

Staff was amazing. One of our favorite vacations that we have taken. We were about 45 minutes from PV proper but was easy enough to get there a couple times during our stay. We also had some amazing excursions that took us places we probably never would have gone if we hadn’t been on the north side.

Did not like it at all. Nothing to do. Front desk not helpful at all. Had ants in the room and they would not change rooms. Phone in room did not work. Asked for king bed and received two double beds. Again they did nothing about it. Lounge bar only has a band Thursday to Saturday otherwise is dead. Beach is full of rocks. We all had cuts. Would not give us a 1 hour late check out unless we paid. Will never go back.
