First Class treatment

Posted 8-May-2017
Pros: the seclusion of the hotel, restaurants and amazing service
Cons: nothing, it was a perfect
From the moment we walked into the hotel, we received celebrity treatment. The first comment from one of the hotel managers was "this is your home for the next few days" and she meant it. We received nothing but royal treatment, it was over the top service from management and there staff. I've never experienced anything like it and I've traveled all over the world. The resort, our ocean front villa, restaurants and the staff were amazing. The manager even surprised us with a bottle of champagne and strawberries to help celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was an incredible experience and I would definitely vacation there again in the future. Thank you Four Season for making our weekend get away and celebration of our wedding anniversary special.

Wonderful Experience

Posted 19-Apr-2017
Pros: The Hotel is located in a gated community with other 4 Hotels. Very secured.
We had a wonderful experience at Four Seasons - Punta Mita. The place is incredibly beautiful, the staff is amazing, polite, professional and kind. It is a little pricey but is worth it. The hotel have 3 different restaurants...the food is amazing, but if you don't want to spend too much, the pool bar offers great and heathy options. They also set up a taco stand for lunch. The pool staff always come around with free juices, fruit and ice cream. They set up a dinner by the beach with "catch of the day" and grilled lamp...they grilled the lamp and fish right there, and I can't recall last time I had a more delicious grilled fish. Very family oriented. The Hotel have two private beaches with chairs and food services. Our room was "garden view" but we could also see the ocean and the sunset. Room services was excellent. We were there in April, so the weather was perfect.

Nice hotel close to the beach.

Posted 8-Apr-2017
Pros: Was peaceful and beautiful with great service. Nice spa as well!!
Cons: The rooms could be updated a bit to reflect Mexican style.
Location: We didn't leave the hotel aside from a zip lining trip, but I know there are activities in the area.
It is a beautiful hotel with great service and delicious food.

Private idyllic paradise

Posted 8-Feb-2017
Pros: Setting, service, the room, food--Private Plunge pool which they will heat to any reasonable temperature
Cons: Some did not appreciate the dated yellow paint ubiquitous to the outdoor plaster. Not much else could be improved upon-a perfectly pampered stay
Location: Private setting geographically, a bit removed from native real Mexico. Lots of sea based activities, golf.
We splurged on a 1 bedroom 2 room 2 full bath suite with private plunge pool overlooking a cliff with the crashing pacific ocean beneath. The Hotel may have appeared rustic at first with the thatched roof reception area, but the moment we walked in and were introduced to Jorge's "office"--the panoramic open air pacific view reception theater, and were handed the perfectly refreshing agua de fresa, we new we were in Four Seasons territory. Service was impeccable and ever pleasing from the relaxing couch based check in pampering, to the heartfelt sad departure, always exceeding most of out previous Four Seasons experiences to date. We also chose a very quiet time of year--there are facilities for kids, but almost none in sight. Perfect weather. 2-3 times a day maid/room cleaning service. Tons of free (pre-paid..) bottled water. Most amenities on the beach are included, and there is a never ending variety of choices of beachside accomodations-suspended bed couches, "pods" hung from the cliff above, all sorts of lounges chairs, umbrellas, all with immediate food, drink, sunglass cleaning service, and beachside activities. Beautiful restaurant venues, great seafood, and a bar every 50 feet for those who are nervous about having the necessities. Tip: Wine is expensive on the lists, largely due to import tax-if you're a collector or picky you can pack in your own like we did --corkage is 35 per bottle in restaurants and free in your room with room service. Golf is pricey.

Beautiful property with great service

Posted 4-Feb-2017
Pros: Service, location, views, the spa.
Cons: The food. None of the restaurants have amazing food, and desserts were in particular underwhelming.
Location: Whale watching (an activity the hotel can arrange for you) was definitely well worth it, as was a day trip to the nearby town of Sayulita.
Stayed over a 3-day weekend in January. Staff was friendly and attentive, the pool has a gorgeous view of the ocean, the room was spacious and quiet, and the whale watching tour was amazing.

Perfection! Well done Four Seasons.

Posted 28-Jan-2017
Pros: Everything. The property is truly amazing. They have a very special location with the old growth vegetation and being situated on the cliff.
Location: We stayed on the property for most of our stay, except to play tennis at the near by tennis club.
The vacation was wonderful from start to finish. The service was above and beyond. The location is absolutely beautiful with stunning views from everywhere. The food was outstanding. The accommodation was beautiful and clean. We watched humpback whales frolic from our balcony every morning with our coffee. Everything they offer to their guests is thought out well. From sunscreen dispensers to unlimited cold bottled water, they truly take care of their guests. Releasing the baby sea turtles was a very special experience. Bravo to the Four Seasons for supporting such an important program and allowing your guests to be a part of it.
