Pools close at 8pm and they stop serving liquor at midnight so keep that in mind. The pools are amazing and you’re very close to the beach. Staff are absolutely wonderful and attentive. Not the biggest selection of buffet options but good nonetheless. Make sure to book reservations at the restaurants on the first day as some are only open certain days if you want to try them all.

The hotel is marketed as having 5 a la cart restaurants but only two of them are open per night. The only breakfast and lunch options are the buffet and the snack bar until 6 pm- every day. You also have to make reservations for these a la cart restaurants and we had very limited time slots available for dinner upon our stay. We had to do dinner at 9:30 pm on one night and 10 pm on a second night , because they had no other available time slot, with 2 days ahead of time. They should market this and let the guest call ahead of time to make these reservations as it limits the experience. Overall, food was decent, staff was excellent.

This property is not worth it at all. I stayed in the older part of the hotel and it was literally falling apart. Our rooms were incredibly old. Old bathroom with very dirty towels. Everything in the room was old. The elevators were so old they broke down. The roof top bar was so old, it almost seemed like it had caught fire. Staff was rushed and seemed like they hated their jobs. Pools were old and dirty. Walk ways were dirty and stained. Tables in restaurants were old and dirty. Food was old. Just everything was bad. Save your money and don't stay here. Also, there's not much to do in the area unless you want to travel at least 40 min. Hated everything about this property.

Food and drinks very very low quality... Not worth the "all inclusive” title especially since there upcharges for drinks and the restaurants are borderline gross. The customer service was atrocious from the checking in, trying to make reservations at the restaurants (which are empty all the time and still turn you away plus the food was again... borderline gross). Not all the rooms on the property are part of the resort, many of the rooms are leased as condos and they share the pools with the guest. There are more things I can say but I'm sure other reviews already mentioned this stuff. Good things... The room is okay although our toilet got clogged and there is one good bar at the property. The buffet is also good and has better food than any of the restaurants.

Alcohol severely watered down and can't get a drink before 11am. No food available from 12-1pm and 4-6pm (except for a coffee bar), which just boggles my mind for an all-inclusive. Quality of food at buffet was fine but the a la carte options were very bland. Will not be back.

This resort was a disappointment! We had an issue with bleach that ruined my daughters dress when we went to eat at the buffet on day 1, a black bathing suit was not “found” in white towels that were cleaned from our room after asking 4 days straight and our speaker and Fanny pack were stolen out of a suitcase when a worker entered our room without authorization 1 hour before check out saying they were fixing a TV that we had NEVER complained about! They have not compensated us at all we will NEVER be going back and this will be on all travel reviews. We stayed here for 13 nights and this is the customer service we get. Not a happy traveller!

To preface this, I’ve traveled a ton and have stayed at many resorts all over Mexico. This was my first time here! Rude staff, we got food poisoning and wasted 2 days (from the chicken panini), long waits for breakfast, first room we checked in a/c wasn’t working/toilet clogged 2 times in less then an hour, and the room was gross) ended up paying for an upgrade to have a room with working a/c. We booked a spa appointment and showed up and some how they lost our appointment and had to come back another day. Overall I rate this hotel a 1 and that’s only because the best experience we had was from the smart photography who did our family photos. They were kind, fun, and made that one experience worth the rest of the week. Please retrain your staff to be customer friendly, this was the worst vacation I’d ever been on.

The resort was quiet and not too busy. Activities for kids were good, boogie boarding, tennis, pools. We were not happy that we got convinced to upgrade our room after they told us the cheaper upgrade was no longer available, but then gave us the same upgrade but at the higher price.

Staff was always friendly. Servers greet you with a smile; anything you need they help accommodate. Food was plentiful & varied. Pools clean, beach prestine. Watching Iguanas come to the pool for water was always interesting and entertaining. If we visit Mexico again we would stay at the Wyndham Alltra Vallarta again. We had an absolutely amazing time! I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews but they were wrong! The staff was amazing and we loved all the restaurants. So many options! We loved the quietness of the resort and picked this one for that reason. It was a family friendly resort so if you are looking for the party scene, definitely go elsewhere.

Manuel was amazing. So was Arturo aka chino. The bar tenders were very good too. The taxi service was not good. They would tell you a price at the resort and when it came to pay the taxi drivers would try to charge you more. If you’re young and looking to have fun on the resort I’d reccommend somewhere else because they will yell at you for playing music. Half of the place is owned by older people. The food was edible but not good by any means. The servers get annoyed when you try to order more food even thought the portions couldn’t feed an infant.

I stayed here for five nights and on night two I was ready to leave but it was a nonrefundable stay. I paid for their premium guess package and it turned out to be a scam, all you get is a slightly better view of the ocean. The rooms need to be remodel. Everything in the room was outdated. The TV remote didn't work properly, the TV was old, the closet doors wouldn't close and would get on your way when leaving or entering the room, the hot tub was dirty and the water even dirtier (unusable). The sofa was full of stains of who knows what. The resort has cheap alcohol beverages, the food choices aren't very good, no good entertainment and they have additional charges for everything even to use their ugly cavanas (in reality is not an all inclusive resort.). You share the property with condo owners who take over everything. They have a curfew to use the pool and upstairs bar. And its so far away from Puerto Vallarta or any fun places. Wish I could get my money back. I am very disappointed. Please don't stay here.

Overall as expected for an all inclusive. First night we had no shampoo, poor service when we arrived, room service never showed up even after called for it 3 times, next day room was never cleaned. When we commented about it we were told that we probably had the no disturb tag outside. We did complain further and everything was fixed for the rest of the days. Food was good, drinks were good, entertainment was average. Overall 4/5

From our February trip, left Feb 27th. Stayed one week. A couple. Our takes: -we liked the club package, especially the mini buffet and drinks on floor 7. Check in and out on this floor was convenient. (we stayed floor 7). This was open until 7pm. -our favorite drinks were the espresso & chocolate martinis (we are not big into slush drinks, beer or margaritas) -our favorite restaurant was Italia and we enjoyed the rooftop sushi. -massage on the beach was nice (charged us 400 pesos) -breakfast room service was our favorite, no charge. -the coffee shop is open until 11:00 p.m. but on the room cards it says 11:00AM (misprint). -staff were excellent! We tipped in pesos. -cab into Puerto Vallarta was easy. We visited the romantica zone twice -if you're looking for an off resort fine dining experience with a laid back atmosphere we went to the Blue Shrimp in Nuevo Vallarta (9min cab ride). If you go, ask to sit by the lagoon. -no drinks allowed in the pool, we like that as it kept the pools cleaner and not as many rowdy people. -room was very spacious and nice. Deep soaking tub inside and jacuzzi tub on the balcony (used each once). I did have to get housekeeping to clean the outdoor one better prior to use. Things to make better: - pressure wash the areas around the pool. Lots of unpleasant staining. -buffet was so so. Nights with events were much better, ex Mexican night. More fresh stations needed. We would go again! 4/5⭐

I come down for the Super Bowl party every year except during Covid and I did not like it being inside the building Super Bowl parties need to be outside or on the beach like they were years ago when dreams on it

Had such a fabulous all-inclusive vacation! This Wyndham property was the best all-inclusive experience! Clean, good food options, spa and overall customer service from staff was exceptional! Will definitely come back!! Also enjoyed the exceptional service from Fernando, Victor and Samuel who went out of their way to take care of us during our dining experiences.

there is nothing to do inside or around this property. it's mainly a destination for older folks looking to chill under the sun and use the pool and hang by the beach. drinks are watery and food quality is terrible. A big problem is "mini bar inside the room" which doesn't exist. we made multiple calls to get some water bottles up to the room, and sometimes it takes 6-7 calls to get somebody up. i won't stay here again, and i don't recommend others to do that either.

We booked this fairly last minute and got what we paid for. My partner and I wanted a quick vacation and expectations weren’t that high. We unfortunately were a bit disappointed with the buffet and food options, although it was edible. Drinks were mediocre. The pools and beach area are quite nice. Overall not the worst but also certainly not top of the line. Staff were overall fairly friendly but only one or two went out of their way to accommodate us.

We stayed at the Wyndham in February 2024. Overall, we would not choose to stay at this resort again. For the most part, service was excellent and were were treated very well by the staff. We appreciated the multiple swimming pools and beach access. We did not like the condition of the room or the late night noise. The food was very hit and miss. You have to make reservations by 8:30am for dinner in one of the restaurants (please get rid of this archaic process!). 2/4 of our family got traveler's diarrhea. The biggest negative, though, was our check in experience; when we arrived, we were told our room wasn't ready and that we would have to wait for them to clean it and put in a second bed. Our family of 4 arrived late in the day (around 7pm), so we expected a room to be ready. We were offered spa treatment as an apology, but after such a long day of travel, we felt that was unacceptable. Then, after waiting about an hour, we were given access to the room only to find it quite dirty and full of the former guests belongings (pills, socks, used toiletries, trash). Additionally, we stayed in a room above the lobby. The lobby bar played very loud music every night until late (10-11pm or later). There is zero soundproofing and no concern for guests trying to sleep. The toilet in our room made a huge, shrill squeak with every flush.
