Inspired by childhood hikes through Old Man’s Cave, where the crevices and nooks of rocky terrain became secret sanctuaries, we sought to recreate that sense of discovery and wonder within our cabin.
  
By studying the intricate textures and layers of Hocking Hills' **Black Hand Sandstone**, we infused the design of SubTerra with the raw beauty and mystery of the terrain—creating a space that feels unearthed.
  
This **therapeutic retreat** invites you to indulge in rejuvenating rituals: an **infrared sauna**, **cold plunge**, **massage chair**, and **hot tub** await your arrival. The balance of heat and cold has long been known to revitalize the body and calm the mind. As tension melts away and muscles soften, you’ll find yourself renewed—relaxed, recharged, and ready for whatever lies ahead.

Everything about our recent stay at Subterra was wonderful. The host provided lots of extra information about the surrounding area and hikes, the amenities were above and beyond, we didn’t want to leave!
