Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' This lovely home in Newport, Oregon boasts ample RV and boat parking that conveniently accommodate a range of adventures and outdoor fun. When guests aren't exploring, or enjoying the sand and waves, they can gather on the side yard deck and cook up some grub on the gas grill or enjoy the private hot tub! This spacious, split-level home is lovely for families, with a wood-burning fireplace right at the heart of it all. One bathroom and two bedrooms are on the lower level, and there are two bedrooms with a large hallway bathroom on the upper level. Located in Surfland Estates (three mi south of Newport), the neighborhood is quiet, tree-lined, kid and bike-friendly, and with dead-end streets! Surfland has two beach accesses only for residents and their guests. The first is a switchback staircase leading down to the beach, and the trail leading to it is just a short walk from the house on Surfland Street. The other is at the end of the same street, a measured half-mile from the home. This one is a low bank with easy walk-on access and parking space. Either one will take you to one of the most beautiful, pristine, and unpopulated beaches on the Oregon Coast, perfect for beachcombing and teeming with coastal wildlife! If you prefer a dune type of beach with trails, the South Beach State Park is just a little over a mile to the north. Newport is just a few miles north, with boat launches and a crabbing/fishing dock next to the Rogue Brewery World Headquarters (crab rings are stacked behind the house for your convenience and enjoyment!) The Oregon Coast Aquarium is also nearby. On the other side of the bridge are the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse and the Old Bayfront, lined with shops, a wide variety of restaurants, and other popular attractions. At the end is mooring for the largest commercial fishing fleet on the Oregon Coast. Further into Newport, the Nye Beach district is also popular with visitors. Two golf courses within a few miles of the house also provide a fun and challenging break from the beach; if you can break away from the beach, that is! THINGS TO KNOW There is a double sofa bed in one of the upstairs bedrooms. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 2. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. I loved the fact that it felt like we were in the forest with only a mile to the beach. It felt like a home away from home. The only thing I would say is the beach access is quite a hike down with stairs and you gotta climb them back. Plenty of pots, pans, bowls and plates. The walk down to the beach was short and easy, I could have spent all my time down there. This house was the perfect size to accomodate all of us. The location was wonderful, far enough from the road to be quiet, but close enough to walk to the beach. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable. We played a couple of the games in the evening, just adding to the memories. We had a great stay here as so many amenities were provided. However you need to bring your own coffee as it isn’t provided.Overall all the beds are king beds and very comfy. Jun 21, 2025 #### A true homey gem This has to be one of my favorite homes I've stayed at. Came with my family (including 3 kids 5 and under) and we loved everything about it. The layout of the house is great, carpets everywhere clean and soft, heater settings in each room for individual prefence, a fun hot tub to relax in at night, and a kitchen with lots of assorted treasures to kickstart cooking. We also adored the secret beach trail and walked there daily. The address doesn't come up correctly on GoogleMaps, so finding it was more challenging than expected, plus the hot/cold was sometimes challenging to figure out.
