This was a very disappointing experience.
It is true that tourism was affected badly by Covid-19, but the resort should keep the bare minimum of a 5-star hotel.
At first, we were pleasantly surprised when we were told that we would stay in a suite. The latter was spacious, clean and had an excellent sea view. We also appreciated how friendly and welcoming the waiters were.
There are two shortcomings that made our stay not so agreeable:
1. The passage to the beach was locked, so we could not go for walks.
2. The biggest disappointment was the menu at the restaurant. While I understand why the hotel opted out of serving a buffet, it does not make any sense to serve the same exact menu two nights in a row!! I could not believe it when we were presented with the same menu, which in itself featured a limited variety of choices (some of which were not even available). Better meals could be served in a 3-star hotel. To ease our frustration, our waiter took the initiative and offered us some delicious pastries, which were gifted to him by another customer.
In all cases, our stay was overpriced.
