"What an amazing trip! The view from our room was just breathtaking! Great location to walk to town. A wonderful place to be closer to locals and there always willing to help. The owner and staff were very nice and helpful. Pa pa picked us up at the airport helped us so much and made us feel like home."

"This rental is situated on a beautiful property on the top of a mountain. The staff is five star all the way. Tamara and Cletus made us feel at home while staying at the Hermitage Jewel. Tamara is an awesome cook and overall great human. It was inviting and well-appointed. The driver, Dave, is a stellar guy. He takes so much pride in his service and really takes are of you. The house itself is a bit rustic but it is exactly as it is described. There are mosquitoes but just be prepared. It is in the jungle so this is expected. House is clean and has all the amenities for a great stay. We recommend getting the groceries you need for your stay early on (like on the way). There is drinking water on site in a five-gallon jug. Once you are up at the property, it is not close to stores and the closest restaurant is quite a steep walk (approx 10 min). We are from a mountainous area and thought the road up to the home was quite steep. Taxi service is about 40-50 roundtrip to get groceries or anything else in Soufriere. The ATM is also in town so make sure you have access to cash, we used cash more than card. Let Tamara or Dave help you arrange excursions- they won't steer you wrong and they use people that are super trust-worthy and insured. The view from the deck is stunning. The gardens are really neat and well maintained. We took walks through them daily to look at the fruit trees and flowers. Lots of birds and lizards! Overall, this was a great stay with unbelievable views."

"If you’re planning a trip and worried about plans/things to do in St lucia if you plan on staying at Caldera don’t stress. On the property they have list of activities alongside prices and the host is always available to reach out too for suggestions or arranging taxis - The host made everything a million times more seamless making us less anxious. Whenever we took taxis they always encouraged us to let our drivers know if we need to make a pit stop for groceries all in all very hospitable. If you’re trying to get away from the more tourist heavy places as this area was surrounded by locals. All the locals were extremely friendly and helped with suggestions on things to see and do. I’d definitely go again ti redo the trip now i have expectations but without their help and support this trip wouldn’t have been as amazing. "beautiful resort, excellent food and unique rooms. We had the premium hillside suite with views the pitons and ocean, wonderful breeze comes into the room and the view was fantastic. In all of our travels to the eastern carribean we have never met such nice people working at the resort. They were friendly and always helpful."
