This cozy and romantic tree house-inspired villa is especially designed to take in the amazing views of the iconic Pitons and St Lucia’s unique lush tropical environment. Located between the popular Anse Chastanet beach and resort and Soufriere town, this one bedroom, one bath villa with kitchen comes with a very welcoming staff, refreshing private and natural salt plunge pool, and lush tropical gardens that are certain to delight. The villa is close to Soufriere town and a number of popular attractions in the area. This fully furnished and recently remodeled small villa is your home away from home. It's now a designer's showcase. It provides the perfect location for enjoying one of the most popular areas in St. Lucia. The unique and open architecture of the treehouse allows you to live in the tree line and enjoy nature to its fullest. Spend hours on the open deck, enjoying the sweeping views, feeding the birds, and dining on the freshest local food, some right from the garden or direct from the neighborhood. The entire villa has been renovated and now features a wonderful chef's kitchen with views of the pitons (the only one we know of in the area), a river-themed tiki bar for hanging out and enjoying the views and great vibes, beautiful hand crafted wood lighting throughout, new bedroom with handmade arts and crafts king bed, a new bathroom complete with vessel sink and rain shower, and a salt plunge pool with a waterfall feature and with ample room and lots of privacy for enjoying the Caribbean sun. The villa has been rebuilt in a timeless "treehouse arts and crafts" style with lots of art for our guests to enjoy. This is the perfect small villa to enjoy a special occasion such as an anniversary, birthday, or other special event, including a small wedding. If you have a larger group, you can rent the sister property next door, the Treehouse Hideaway Villa II, which sleeps 4\. The two villas are separated by lush tropical gardens, ensuring that you'll have all the privacy that you need for your wonderful stay. The owners have long time connections to the island. They spend a lot of time on the island and can help you with all of your unique planning needs. Our goal at the Treehouse villas is to make sure that you can have the perfect local experience and enjoy your stay in ways that you can't by staying at one of the resorts. The villa comes with a complete staff that is available to make sure that you can have the best possible experience in the area. Our local staff at the villa are very experienced in hospitality and staying at the Treehouse allows you to enjoy local meals that are expertly prepared by her local host. Our team can also help you plan your trip and help you with booking any of the popular activities, from climbing the Gros Piton to hiking the famous Tet Paul Trail to snorkeling and diving adventures to sunset sailing around the Pitons to visiting local area artists to dining at the top resorts, hotels and local restaurants. The bedroom features a luxurious king size bed, new air conditioner (if you need it), and plenty of closet space to store your clothes and belongings. You'll also find a smart tv. In the living area you'll find a futon couch (that can also be used for sleeping) and an entertainment area that provides a music system, and full wifi that works nicely throughout the property, and a safe for storing your valuables. The new kitchen now features high ceiling, lots of ventilation for working, a nice bar, and much more counter space for cooking up local, tasty treats. It is all set up with the tools, utensils, and appliances that you'll need including a fridge, full gas stove and oven, microwave, coffee maker, and more. New food delivery: We also now offer a grocery shopping service and a custom meal delivery service for our guests. You can order groceries or complete lunches and/or dinners. This is a good way to experience the excellent local cuisine. Electricity and outlets: The Treehouse villa is wired for standard 120v and 240v. We do have ample standard 120v US outlets throughout and also UK style outlets. No need for guests to bring any adapters. Treehouse I vs. Treehouse II The Treehouse I villa is a little smaller than Treehouse II. It's designed for a single traveler, a couple, or a couple and a guest. The Treehouse II villa is a little larger with a top and bottom floor. It's a perfect villa for a couple or two couples, sharing a special time together. The kitchen in Treehouse II is a bit larger and futures more working space and appliances. Both Treehouses come with their own private plunge pools and the villas are separated by very lush gardens ensuring that there is maximum privacy between the villas. Both villas can be rented together to support a group of 6+, for a special stay with good friends and family. Damian was a great driver who was available at all times of the day to give us rides which was very helpful in the difficult terrain. We arrived with lots of ideas with what to do, but Damian was very helpful in scheduling events for us and putting us in contact with great experiences in the area. I definitely recommend paying for the dinner to have the first night if you're arriving later in the day as it was very nice to have a meal ready when we arrived. The welcoming dinner from the staff chef was incredible and was enough to feed us leftovers for days. Do order her cooking on the first night of a night that you stay at the Treehouse. The local support staff were INCREDIBLE and provided transportation to every corner of the island, as the roads are curvy, narrow, dark and not smooth. The birds enjoyed a breakfast of Plantain. My fiancée says the bed was comfortable and pillows were soft. The views of the Pitons from the patio were incredible. We had 3 weeks in St Lucia and one of the 3 weeks was at the treehouse (by far our favorite week!). We loved the open air feel and the big deck to enjoy morning coffee with the birds! the lush foliage around the place was beautiful and the private plunge pool was perfect. The location is ideal to see all that Soufriere has to offer and the best snorkeling beaches are very close. We loved to snorkel and went almost every day. This was our first time using VRBO and the communication with Keith was extremely helpful. Not only the host Keith, but the property manager Damian was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions and needs. Jul 24, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy On July 8th we arrived in Saint Lucia and were picked up by our super host Damien in the Subaru Forrester that we would rent for the duration of our stay. Damien could not have been more hospitable. We laughed about the fact that we were both driving instructors. He pulled over to buy us cold drinks as it was so hot and stopped at Massy (Supermarket) so we could get some provisions. The property is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in Treehouse 1 and the connection to the outdoors was amazing. The hideaway overlooks trees with tons of birds, There is a main road below but the noise was tolerable when you realize the amazing views and fauna. We took full advantage of the plunge pool and the floaties and loved watching the hummingbirds. The property is maintained by Elridge who cares for the magnificent plants and trees and helped me set up the grill. We had Fabi prepare an amazing meal for us and she allowed me to watch her cook so I could learn and hopefully recreate her talents at home ( I already made the fish, my wife was pleased, thanks Fabi!!). My wife was obsessed with feeding the birds. Be prepared that the road is rough to walk and drive on, but you are on Paradise Island so who cares:) . We enjoyed beaches, Anse Mamin and Anse went to the hot spring mud bathes, Volcano, and Tet Paul Hike which is not to be missed. Mango restaurant TreeTops, Orlandos, Felicity's in Soufriere was sublime. Get out there and enjoy!! ##### Dianne B. We were perched on the mountainside and had glorious views.in a spacious bungalow style house with a plunge pool we spent a great deal of time in. The property has lovely gardens all around and we really enjoyed the pool area with lounge chairs and very clean plunge pool. So fun seeing all kinds of birds, especially hummingbirds. There is a road in front of the property, can be busy during the day. Highly recommend getting a meal prepared by Fabi, delicious and you’ll have enough food for days. Also, Damian can help with driving around and arranging any trip or dinner plans. He is very responsive. We loved St Lucia and our time at Treehouse I. ##### Gerry P. Damian picked us up at the airport and was very informative and nice. Fabie cooked us a welcome meal. We ate the food for days! It was so good. We appreciated the private plunge pool. It was nice to cool off at the villa in a beautiful garden setting. One favorite day was spent at Paradise beach in the rain. The staff were kind and the snorkeling was really wonderful. We hiked down to Anse Chastanet and found the secret beach on the way. Damian arranged for us to have lunch at Anse Mamin one afternoon. That is also a great place to watch the sun set. For our last night we walked across the street to Callie Blanc for dinner. Hilarius took amazing care of us at dinner. The setting was very romantic. It was a perfect way to end the trip. We arrived a day late due to airline delays. Keith offered to let us stay an extra day since we missed one night. Regrettably our flights could not be changed and our trip\[could not extend for an extra day. Since we bought trip insurance from VRBO we hope to get a reimbursement for the missed night. Damian arranged rides at our requests. We should have rented the car from the Villa. This would have allowed us to see and do more around Soufriere. I would stay here again. We absolutely loved our stay at Treehouse Villas! The experience felt like a unique blend of comfort and a touch of flaming. The open-air living room, with a curtain that separates it from the stunning front balcony, adds a cozy charm. This setup is ideal for a couple on a romantic getaway. The bedroom is wonderfully comfortable, featuring a four-poster bed draped in mosquito netting – though bugs were hardly an issue. Each morning, birds joined us on the balcony as we enjoyed breakfast, adding a delightful touch of nature. The private pool beside the house was a perfect retreat after a day at the beach. Customer service was outstanding, with Damien consistently going above and beyond to assist us. He helped secure dinner reservations, taxis, and even arranged a boat trip, all at reasonable prices. Soufrière itself has so much character, and the locals are warm and welcoming. All in all, we couldn’t have imagined a better honeymoon experience. ##### Robin C. The owner provided plenty of documentation about the property and the area so you can get the most out of your stay. The property manager Damien greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the place. The location near Anse Chastanet beach is great and a good launching point to explore the many sites in the southern part of the island. The road from Soufriere to get to the property and the beach is probably one of the worst I have ever driven, but, funny to say, you get used to it. Our only real issue was around sleeping. As mentioned in other posts, the road to the beach resorts is almost under the deck, so you do hear the vehicles going in/out. Also, the gardener started his day between 6-6:30am on multiple days (despite Damien asking when he could start and us saying 9am), so you heard movement around the villa early which was a little disturbing. ##### Dave H. We spent an unforgettable week at Treehouse 1, and from the moment we booked, the experience was exceptional. The pre-arrival communication was superb, with detailed information about dining, shopping, and sightseeing, which made planning effortless.We arranged for an airport pickup and rented a car from the owner, which worked perfectly. The transfer was smooth, with a friendly driver who stopped at a local grocery store so we could stock up on essentials. The final drive up the hill to the villa was intense, but after a couple of trips, it felt manageable. We arrived safely to a warm welcome meal, the perfect start to our stay.The villa matched the photos and description perfectly. It was well-equipped with beach chairs, snorkel gear, towels, and everything needed for cooking. Drinking water was safe straight from the tap! The bedroom was cozy, with a very comfortable bed, and the AC worked well, though we only used it at night.The private pool was a highlight, offering a serene, secluded place to relax. Wi-Fi was reliable for streaming and video calls, and the villa had games and activities for cozy evenings.Treehouse 1’s location was ideal, between Soufrière and Anse Chastanet/Mamin Beach (great burgers!), both within walking distance, though we preferred driving. The views of Petit Piton and Soufrière Bay were breathtaking, and walking the neighborhood offered amazing photo opportunities.The staff was attentive and helpful, always ready with recommendations. ##### David M. I did a lot of research and found the Treehouse to be just what I desired for my husband and I. The owner Keith is very detailed in all of the information he provides that really helped plan what we would enjoy the most. We opted to have Damien drive us around and we had such a great experience we left with a new friend. Treehouse is magical, it's on the side of the mountain with a small view of the ocean through the most lush tropical plants I couldn't get enough of and the Piton mountains in the distance. In the morning we drank Piton coffee with the Cocoa Damien helped us pick out at the farmers market perched in the blue rockers. As the sun rose over the Pitons, the birds came to get their morning snack. We sipped Piton beers poolside as the sun set and the night bugs sang to us. We played Soca on the speaker and danced around while the warm Caribbean rainshowers gave nourishment to the tropical forest all around us and birthed beautiful rainbows above. We ate amazing food prepared by the staff, hiked to the beach at Jade Mountain and the secret beach along the way. I wanted to dine outside as much as possible and see the mountains, having lunch at The Mango Tree and watching the sunset between the Pitons at the Ladera fish fry were breathtaking experiences. We had so much fun palling around with Damien and loved his pick of lunch at Paradise beach. The Mystic cruise was GREAT as was the private boat experience. ##### Jewels 8. Transfer from Airport was super smooth with Damian. Responsive to what’s app texts. Fabie the chef had a wonderful dinner to greet us upon our arrival- so much food. Delicious and left overs lasted us for days. Car rental on property is a must - so convenient and able to travel on our time. Road up the hill is an experience but one you get used to quickly. Really nice location just out of town and not far drive from beach or hikes. Treehouse had everything needed for a nice stay. Bugs were not bad. The birds and tree frogs provide a memorable backdrop. View from Treehouse 1 is good not great. Can see one Piton far left. Sunset was blocked by large tree- but we knew this going in. More road noise at night than we expected but not a huge issue. Plunge pool was very nice for afternoon or evening cool off. Kitchen had what we needed. Bedroom air conditioner felt great at night. Shower was just so so - no issues with water - just black mildew in caulk around the edges. Wi-Fi and Netflix on TV in bedroom if you wanted it. All in all a nice, open air stay. ##### John H.
