A fantastic experience

A fantastic experience. We had booked pickup at the airport through the hotel and we were met by André, who is a fantastic host. The location is central. Right next to the charming old town. You can walk to all the good things from the hotel. The hotel is also delicious and has possibly the best view in the city.

appartement DANGEREUX . MISE EN DANGER DE LA VIE

maison couverte de plastique avec échafaudage sur les 4 faces pour ravalement ; impossible de se tenir sur la terrasse :la poussière tombe sur nous avec un bruit infernal de ponceuse, perceuse , marteau piqueur ; l'appartement est au 2éme sous sol : la cave de cette maison de maitre ; 120 m2 chauffé par un seul poele qui s'eteint toutes les 3 heures ; 3eme chambre dans couloir sans fenêtre ; ballon d'eau chaude insuffisant pour 6 personnes ; DU VOL pur et simple ; ARNAQUE, et tout cela avec la plus grande courtoisie ; mise en danger d'un locataire de 88 ans qui a grelotté durant 4 jours, respiré la poussière dégagée par les travaux ; c'est une HONTE d'autant que M.ANDREA trouve tout cela normal PUBLICITE MENSONGERE ; nous avons des photos ; nous pouvons porter plainte ; les photos que hôtel. com présente ne correspondent pas à la réalité ; les informations données par HOTEL.COM au moment de la reservation sont FAUSSES ; j'ai demandé de me donner le niveau auquel se trouvait cet appartement de 120m2 pour 6 personnes ; ils m'ont dit : le rez de chaussée ; nous devions accéder facilement et directement à la superbe terrasse panoramique, ce qui nous convenait pour nos ages ; c'était un MENSONGE , nous étions 2 étages en dessous de ce rez de chaussée :LA CAVE ; si nous sortions, nous avions dans les yeux toute la poussière des travaux de l'appartement au dessus du notre grand ouvert sur la cage d'escalier ; et une fois sortis, toute la poussière du ravalement sur la tête

Nice apartment with poor service

What should have been a nice stay in a well located apartment was marred by poor communication and a lack of hospitality. Upon booking of the stay, we received an email to state our time of arrival. When we arrived the location was locked and no one to be found. Neighbors told us the owner wasn't around and did not answer our calls. Hotels.com as well as town tourist board could not get a hold of the owner with direct or alternate numbers for over an hour while our family waited outside the gate. Eventually the owner arrived and let us in without even an apology, just saying he didn't answer cause his phone was dead even though he knew we were coming. Outside of that memorial part of it I will list other positives and negatives. Positives: The place was awesomely located with a great view, the rooms were well decorated and the space was sufficient. Negatives: Besides what was listed above it had a smelly bathroom, partially empty pool that worried me with kids and construction on the apartment during the stay. All in all, I would say that we would not stay again as the price was not reflective of the hospitality and place, though I believe it could improve itself.

The most horrible experience i have had in my entire life. The location is great but the one man incharge of the property is a big liar and cheat. We booked 2 rooms only to go there and find out he gave our other room to someone else and asked us to just "manage". We were 10 with kids. He promised us he would refund our money and after months of asking him, he downright declined and went back on his words. I am suing him in Italian court. The bedroom he gave us had bedbugs. They bit my daughter every night. I told him and he said, "he cannot do anything anout that". He charged my cc without me signing anything. I called him for blankets everyday and he never gave any. Later he said, ibam the only one here. I have no one to run these errands. He told me he never feels cold himself so he had no clue why we needed blankets. He would promise one thing in the morning and fhe next day completely deny everything. Stay away from this property.

Before my trip there was an issue and I had to book another hotel for one night which was a major inconvenience to my trip. We spent a lot of time waiting upon arrival for our room to be ready- about two hours after check in time. The owner told us we could leave our bags by the pool but I was not comfortable with that. Along our stay the owner asked for additional money several times. He also asked for my credit card number. This caused a lot of awkward interactions and overall we did not really feel comfortable while staying there.

Lage und Aussicht gut. Trotz Mitteilung der Ankunftzeit Rezeption nicht erreichbar. Tor geschlossen..Appartement war doppelt vermietet. Mussten eine Nacht in ein Kellerzimmer, sollten aber den vollen Preis bezahlen.

Location. Location. Location.

This property is in a perfect location. The view is phenomenal. There are sweeping views of the city from the living room as well as the kitchen and your own balcon this property is in a perfect location. The view was phenomenal. There are sweeping views of the sea from the living room as well as the kitchen and your own lanai. Andrea who oversees this property is amazing and very responsive. He is helpful with suggestions and any needs that you may have. The only reason we are not giving this five stars is you to the extreme cold. Even with the gas heaters, we were not able to get it warm enough to a comfortable level and caused unpleasant odor. The place is fully stocked and has anything that you may need while you are away from home. It is walkable distance to anything in downtown Sorrento as well as the steps that take you to the ferry going to Capri It’s a very beautiful older home from the late 1800s. Well maintained. A work of art in itself.

Etablissement bien situé proche du centre ville

Nous avons été très bien accueillis lors de notre arrivée tardive (22h15) le lundi 23 avril 2018. Notre hôte nous a conduit à notre appartement situé au rez de chaussée au niveau de la terrasse. Nous avons demandé tout de suite à changer de chambre car il y avait une odeur d'humidité très incommodante. Lors de notre réservation, nous avions pourtant précisé que nous souhaitions avoir une vue sur mer... On nous a donc proposé une autre chambre, cette fois avec vue sur mer mais en bordure de la route menant au port et donc très fréquentée...Nous avons été réveillés à 6h00 du matin sans pouvoir nous rendormir compte tenu du trafic... Le lendemain matin, nous avons donc intégré une 3ème chambre qui, cette fois-ci, était très calme mais sans vue sur mer... Nous sommes restés 5 jours et avons beaucoup apprécié l'emplacement de cet hôtel proche du port et du centre ville. Nous avons en revanche été très surpris de constater que la terrasse de l'hôtel n'était pas en service : transats sans housse et piscine vide. Sur le site internet cette terrasse était pourtant présentée avec piscine pleine et transats pour se reposer. Le beau temps nous auraient permis de profiter de cette infrastructure annoncée sur le site. Nous avons également été très étonnés de constater que nos draps n'ont pas du tout été changés du séjour et que le service de ménage n'est passé qu'une fois. Enfin, nous avons trouvé la litterie très dure. L'accueil qui nous a été réservé a cependant été excellent.

Charme et vue époustouflante, mais très bruyant

Excellent emplacement au cœur de la vieille ville et au dessus de la plage et du port pour aller à Capri. Magnifique villa pleine de charme avec terrasse et une vue époustouflante sur la baie de Naples. Parking gratuit pour la voiture. Habitations désuète mais bien équipées et très propres, pleines de charme. Le seul gros inconvénient est que l’hôtel est implanté au dessus de la petite route sinueuse qui descend au port, avec un trafic incessant et des coups de klaxon continus dès le petit matin. Difficile de dormir sans bouchons d'oreille.

Lovely!

Absolutely breathtaking views from the terrace! We loved having a kitchen in the room because it made it easy for us to cook and then eat outside for a private dinner with a view. The check-in situation was confusing, but that was probably my fault for not doing enough research. The location is excellent. It's very quiet considering that it's such a prime location. We are already talking about returning to this hotel for longer next time.

Short weekend break away Apartment well placed with ample parking and felt very secure Bars, restaurants and shops within minutes of the gate with a place by the gate for breakfast Owner Andrea very helpful, and always at the end of a phone Great location, beautiful building with wonderful panoramic views of Sorrento, the sea and the Marina Grande below Restaurants- all great but particularly enjoyed- Refood and Z'ntonio Music- Filou Club, live music but gets going after midnight Will certainly return with friends

Villa antica in una Posizione Centrale

Weekend molto suggestivo in una struttura antica; Villa la Terrazza infatti non è né un albergo, né un B&B bensì un palazzo antico all'interno del quale risiedono alcuni proprietari di appartamenti mentre altri appartamenti sono affittati come casa vacanze. E' tutto molto bello, l'unico inconveniente è che ci si può sentire a volta intrusi in "casa altrui". Per il resto la struttura è situata in una posizione da fare invidia perché é in una zona centralissima, ma a ridosso dello spettacolare belvedere che si affaccia sul porto. Vesuvio di fronte e mare a strapiombo. Tutto molto bello!

Amazing views but only ok elsewhere

We spent 3 nights at the Villa in their terrace suite (think it is called the Golfo). As with others, we initially struggled to get in (there is a large gate but no way to contact the villa - we got lucky as somebody else was leaving!) and were immediately welcomed by the lovely Valentina. The first thing that hits you about the villa is the view - the view of Naples and Vesuvius is one that you pay a premium for at every restaurant in town and one that you can enjoy 24/7 as part of your stay! The terrace is large and there is a small pool to dip into. At first glance the suite is very luxurious - kitted out in antique, and antique-looking, furniture, very spacious (could probably host 8) and very grand-looking. Upon closer inspection, the place is a little dirty, the kitchen is poorly kitted out, the bedding wasn't the cleanest, there is no information-booklet in the suite so very hard to deal with any problems/identify what is available (there is no desk so you need to email if you have issues), and the wifi is almost non-existent unless you are out on the terrace. If you are looking for views this might be the place (although it is expensive for just the views!); however, if you are looking for a luxurious villa you are probably better off elsewhere for the money.

Cet hôtel est situé face à la baie de Naples, au bord de la mer, le panorama est exceptionnel. Chambre très bien aménagée, personnel accueillant, très bel immeuble.

Great location

Pros: Great location, amazing sea view from the terrace access by everyone staying in the Villa and easy access to town centre/train station. Cons: a bit dated but comes with character. There were several issues on arrival with our original apartment but Andrea (the owner) quickly resolved the issues. We were given another apartment to stay "La Palma". No sea view but perfect for us. Our stay was short so we didn't get a chance to take the boat trip with Andrea... maybe next time for our next visit.

Greatest villa in sorrento

The location of Villa Terrazza couldnt be better. The view is as magnificent as you can get in sorrento. Staff is quite friendly. Everything was perfect. Only bad comment is the shower. Its very small and unconfortable.
