Equipped with table and chairs offers the opportunity to dine outdoors, enjoying the scenery and fine weather. Centrally located, just 500m away from the square in the heart of the city (Piazza Tasso), 500m from the bus and train station from which you can reach Pompeii, Herculaneum, Amalfi, Positano, etc.., 15min walk from the port where hydrofoils and ferries sail to Capri, Ischia, Naples. The penthouse is bright, furnished and equipped with all amenities (WiFi, TV, air conditioning), situated in a peaceful and quiet area without the noise of cars and motorcycles that crowd the streets constantly on the peninsula. Within a radius of 50m there are bars, newsstands, pharmacies, supermarkets, restaurants and pizzerias. With a surface area of 85 m², is composed of a double room with balcony overlooking the Bay of Naples, bathroom with shower, another bathroom, a bedroom with two single beds, with the possibility of one extra bed, then the kitchen with a table for 6 people and a living room with TV, table and a sofa bed. All guests will be provided with bed linen and towels. Nous avons loué cet appartement avec une vue magnifique et une immense terrasse. L'appartement est agréable. La procédure d'arrivée est un peu compliquée car, même si Gerardo est très précis dans ses explications, l'accueil fait par ses parents qui sont absolument charmants mais ne parlent qu'Italien rend la prise en main des lieux un peu fatigante, d'autant plus quand l'on a fait un long trajet. Si il y a la climatisation, elle n'est toutefois pas dans les chambres mais uniquement dans le couloir qui les dessert. Il y a néanmoins des ventilateurs dans chaque pièce. Il n'y a pas de lave vaisselle, et l'évacuation de l'évier de la cuisine était capricieuse. Mais nous avons compris que de toute façon le style de vie local est d'aller au restaurant le plus souvent possible, et ceux-ci sont très nombreux! L'appartement est très bien placé, nous avons laissé notre voiture dans le parking où nous a accompagné la propriétaire, et cela s'est très bien passé. Globalement, notre souvenir est excellent, les défauts ne sont pas importants, nous retiendrons surtout que Sorrente est une ville où il fait bon passer des vacances, et cet appartement nous a permis pleinement de vivre cela. Mention spécial pour le Limoncello fait maison par Madame! ##### Damien M. Gerardo's father was waiting for us at the train station by car. Before we go to the apartment, he took a tour of the area of interest (center, railway station, supermarket, pizzeria).The apartment is located very close to downtown, Piazza Tasso, very close to the Circumvesuviana railway station and walk to the marina takes about 15 minutes. A supermarket is 2 minute walk from the apartment. The location is extremely clean. We enjoyed the fresh fruit found in the kitchen and especially the genuine olive oil . And, the most important, the view of the landscape opened on the huge terrace gives an impression of great freedom. Thank you, Gerardo! The apartment is in a great location, easily walkable to all the action. The host's parents met us at the apartment and showed us around. There was a language barrier, but we made it work! They were so very kind and very proud of their place. The only drawback is the lack of air conditioning. As Americans, we are used to central air. There is one air conditioning unit in the hallway that was not great. We had to sleep with the bedroom door open and we bought a small fan to help. It was also June in Italy so naturally, it was hot and we are not used to that. The outside space was absolutely incredible and really sold the property for us. Greeted by Gerardo, his girlfriend and his beautiful mom, they welcomed us into their home. Property was well kept and was enough space for a group of 7 people. Great location near town center but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Highlight of the property was their terrace with views of the Mediterranean and Mt. Vesuvius. Made it a point to catch the sunset each night that we were there and it did not disappoint. Another highlight was that the sunsets were shared by a group of older adults that lived in the next building who seem to get together each night to enjoy la dolce vita. A great example of how beautiful life is. Gerardo was very attentive and responded quickly anytime we reached out before and during our stay. His parents are lovely. They greeted us and gave us a tour of the place. They even made us a cup of Italian coffee! The apartment is very comfortable and had everything we needed (the AC and washing machine were particularly appreciated!). With 2 adult children, it was nice that they had their own bathroom and room with 2 beds. Our favorite part was waking up to amazing views of the Gulf of Naples and enjoying evenings on the terrace. The views are amazing! The apartment is also conveniently located just outside of the noise and bustle, but only a 6-7 minute walk to the heart of Sorrento. There are 2 grocery stores, a cafe, and multiple restaurants only minutes away. We had a great time! ##### Whitney B. From the time his lovely parents met us at the apartment with freshly picked oranges and lemons and homemade lemoncello, to our check out two weeks later, everything was exceptional. The apartment is in the perfect location close to the Piazza Tasso, supermarkets, a lovely bakery, and delicious takeaway pizza. The Terrace is off the hook and has views in every direction. The neighborhood is lovely and everything is within walking distance. The apartment is fully equipped and comfortably sleeps seven. I would gladly, and hopefully I will someday, stay there again. We stayed 5 nights and found that we could walk to anywhere we needed to be for tours, food etc. Great restaurants nearby. The centre of Sorento is lots of fun, with scores of places to eat, shop or just enjoy the happy vibe. The terrace overlooking the city is enormous, with chairs and a table. The home itself is spacious with large bedrooms, and nice living room and separate dining room. The elevator is efficient and the security very strong. Gerardo our host replied quickly to questions. There were 2 bedrooms- one with a king bed and one with 2 twin beds plus trundles. The rooftop terrace was huge and the views were amazing. We felt very safe and it was very quiet and peaceful. The owner Gerardo was very nice and his parents greeted us to show us around the apartment. They offered us homemade limoncello and olive oil, and lemons and oranges from their garden. An easy walk to Piazza Tasso, the train and bus stations and the harbor. Even closer to 2 grocery stores, a bakery and gelato shop and a couple of pizza places.
