"Amazing hotel conveniently located in Sorrento "
This hotel was a wonderful surprise. Location was excellent; the rooms were extremely spacious and well-equipped. The front desk staff was amazing! Giovanni greeted us and immediately put us at ease. He calmy navigated us and our luggage through the pedestrian streets to the hotel while an associate took our rental car to a closeby parking lot. Would highly recommend this quaint hotel.

Marina Piccola 73 - Sorrento Hotels

Marina Piccola 73

Via marina piccola, 73, Sorrento - Map
"A quiet retreat"
We have recently returned having spent 4 nights at the Marina Piccola 73, which we found to be a lovely little B&B with friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is situated at the port which is below the actual town, which is on top of the cliff. On arrival by taxi from the train station the driver pointed out some stairs that would take us to and from the hotel to the town and although it seemed quiet a trek in reality it didn't take that long at all. If you walk further along from the port there is also a lift in the cliff that will take you to the town. We found the people of Sorrento to be extremely friendly in both the shops and the restaurants. The town had all the Christmas lights on which looked magical and created a good atmosphere. I would recommend both The Marina Piccola 73 and Sorrento for a holiday destination.

"A Hotel with character and history"
Everyone at the hotel and restaurant's were friendly and helpful. Scheduling tours from the hotel was wonderful. We highly recommend chartering the Tall Ship named Vera. The cruise was quite memorable for us. Be sure to pack your swimsuit and take your chances swimming through one of the caves.

Grand Hotel Angiolieri

Via Santa Maria Vecchia, 2, Vico Equense - Map
"Great hotel, stunning views."
Lovely hotel with great staff, breakfast, brilliant bar and stunning views (too cold for us to test swimming pool). Sorrento was just a 10 minute walk to the local train station (Seiano) then a 15 minute train journey away. Get €1.80 tickets from hotel reception. Watch out for scammers at the station if the ticket machine won't stamp your tickets - simply use more than one ticket to make it thick enough - don't accept help from a lady and her talk middle-aged accomplice as they ask for money and appeared to argue over it in some sort of scam. They were not threatening just annoying. Free WiFi was a bonus. Would recommend the hotel highly

Parco dei Principi Hotel

Via Rota, 44, Sorrento - Map
"It's true, all of it!!"
Wonderful hotel which provides comfort and a professional service. Would recommend a sea room, which provides breathtaking views of the bay and Vesuvius. Hotel shuttle bus into town was a must have for us. Nice large rooms, loads of space for clothes and the bed was both comfortable and big. Room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was nice, with a good mix of food and drink. Reception staff were good and provided a small breakfast bag when we checked out at 5am. Bar had a good selection of cocktails, spirits, beer and wine. Music entertainment was subtle and fitting. Pool and beach areas were nice and relaxing. Sorrento is great, loads of bars and restaurants. Seriously recommend the local Christi wine, and the Giardini di Cataldo near the shuttle bus drop off point for ice cream and limoncello. Plenty of choice on offer, and we all know what attractions the area provides. We booked a trip at the information place next to the train station, and got bus and train tickets at the shop next door. We got a bus from the airport to Sorrento which was 10 euros each. Taxi from the coach stop (also the train station) to the hotel is short but the price was extortionate (as much as the bus for 2!). Maybe agree a fare before you get in! We had an early flight home, and used Leonardo (Sorrento) cars. There is a website, and i agreed a price of 70 euros via email. Nice driver who was prompt and friendly. Would recommend you go to Sorrento at least once and stay at the Parco dei Principi!

Grand Hotel Moon Valley - Vico Equense Hotels

Grand Hotel Moon Valley

Via Caulino 5, Vico Equense - Map
"Short Stay at Grand Hotel Moon Valley"
Check-in: Smooth, I expected friendlier staff - no big smiles, no little pleasantries. It is nice & clean, average size - 107 rooms, 4 floors. Room: Our Sea View Room views were fantastic! Large bedroom & bathroom. It is true what they say about the towels - never seen any like those before. They looked & felt like tablecloths but were very large and did what you needed them to do. The water didn't drain properly when showering. We had free WiFi in our room. Pool: Two pools, pretty and clean - one for kids. Bring your own towel or pay Front Desk for one - madness!. It closes at 7 p.m. so you won't be able to swim under the stars or relax after a long day trip. Breakfast: Continental breakfast included. I saw more cold cuts than usual, boiled eggs, juice, croissant, bread, cereals, coffee, tea, muffins, sweet breads, typical stuff. I like breakfast so can't say I loved it but it was enough to start my day. Location: Great views but a good distance from Sorrento. If you want nightly entertainment, stay in Sorrento or enjoy the commute:). Walk to the train is single file and approx. 10 minutes. Shuttle service available but not advertised/encouraged. Road is busy and not pleasant to walk back after a long day or at night, uphill on the way back, downhill to the train. Last train from Sorrento @ 9:30 pm and taxi fare is very high even though it's not that far - plan wisely or pay at a premium! Hotel photos on their website are a true representation.
