Absolutely loved our stay at Marina Piccola 73!! To start they communicated with me as soon as I made a reservation, offering services and providing additional details. Our flight was delayed, we were able to have an email conversation regarding a possible late arrival which calmed our anxiety regarding travel mishaps. Mary was there to greet us with a smile before we even entered the lobby. She walked us to our rooms and ensured our expectation were met. The rooms were lovely with a small balcony and a stunning view of the marina. Breakfast service on the terrace was a great way to start the day. Donatella was a fabulous hostess, and the breakfast selections were plentiful and tasty. The terrace provided a spectacular view of the water. The service, location and room comfort made this a perfect place start to our vacation in Italy. I recommend Marina Piccola for anyone vacationing in Sorrento.

What a gem of a hotel. If you are visiting Sorrento I couldn't see anywhere better to stay. Very friendly, helpful, lovely location and brilliant views.

The hotel has a very convenient location, right at the marina. If you are coming from Naples via the Ferry, there is no need for a taxi. The decor is a mix of vintage and new, which is sustainable. I really liked the eclectic decor, very beautiful. The beds were comfortable. I got the green room, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. We were treated excellently from the beginning. Receptionist (Alice I think) was super friendly, spoke English, and recommended restaurants, and transportation info. The cook was incredible, the food was customized for us, we are vegan. Really top notch, 5 star service. We were so pleased, we promise to come back. Sorrento has so much to offer, and this location cannot be beat. I love the cat Joe Black, super friendly. I had an amazing stay here, I stayed in 4 hotels during my trip to Naples/Sorrento, and this was the best one by a mile.

Quintessentially Quirky with AMAZING staff
This is certainly a stay like no other. If you are fed up with soulless commercial hotel chains then this is the hotel for you.every room is different and The Tower room is unique! Nestled below the cliffs, it makes the perfect location for those using Sorrento as a cruising base to Capri, Positano, Amalfi etc. it is not a hotel for those with mobility issues- possibly the slowest lift in Europe and alternative is outside walkway. Breakfast is in keeping with the rest of the hotel- not like any other experience you’ll have with a cake stand of home made delights served to your table. As for the staff, not enough superlatives! Exactly what staff should be and then some!!

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Marina Piccola and it was such a memorable experience. The location of the hotel is beautiful overlooking the Marina. It was quiet yet a short walking distance to the main, busy piazza. We booked their standard room as they were fully booked for new years and it was clean and stylish. Their bathroom was renovated and their shower had strong water pressure. Their rooftop breakfast was delicious and their chef is a sweetheart. Alice helped us get last minute reservations at a local restaurant for NYE and her and her mother responded immediately to all of our requests and questions. I would highly recommend this hotel. One advice: rent a small, compact car if you decide to rent a car. The road that leads to their garage is narrow but a compact car will also serve you well in the hilly narrow road of the entire region (Positano and Amalfi Coast).

The whole experience here was perfect! Excellent check-in, hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beautiful. The included breakfast was perfect! Our server remembered our coffee orders and was so helpful and efficient. Highly recommend Marina Piccolo 73 and would DEFINITELY come back!! Perfect!!

Wonderful…highly recommend
We highly recommend staying here…the property is right on the water/port side. Excellent views and excellent service. We were made to feel like family. They also accommodated dietary restrictions/allergies with advanced notice…the breakfast was tasty and plentiful (fresh fruit, juices, breads and pastries, plus hot meals (eggs, etc) if desired. They also were happy to help organize any tours or transportation needs or general recommendations for things to do or places to eat around town.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The building has been in the owner’s family for hundreds of years, only recently becoming a hotel, so the story behind it is quite interesting. Even though the building is very old, everything feels very new, clean and modern. Definitely one of the most unique and stylish hotels I’ve stayed in. We got to stay in the tower, which has been converted into a cool loft. The views of the sea were beautiful, and the rooftop bar was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

A little piece of heaven
The hotel is in an excellent position and the staff couldn’t have been been more helpful. All this contributed to a very relaxing stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and if I visit Sorrento again I will definitely stay here. Whoever owns this hotel should be very proud of the staff they have employed and the service they provide .

Marina Perfection
From the moment we arrived, we knew Marina Piccola 73 was going to be magical. The location is more special than any other hotel in Sorrento. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The breakfast staff went above and beyond Donnatella really remembers what you like like to eat and drink. The free breakfast is Devine. They make you feel so special. The view from the room is breathtaking. I will stay at this hotel every time I’m in Italy. The owner is so kind and accommodating.

A dream come true! Staying at Marina Piccola 73 was absolutely magical. Every single person that works there is so kind and helpful. The location is breathtaking, cozy and so central to Sorrento or other stops on the coast. My only regret was not booking a room for longer. Will definitely return at the earliest opportunity.

Everything about this place filled our senses and pleased our souls …from the beautiful view from our balcony to the eclectic, modern and antique furniture to rooftop terrace, with lounge chairs snd sofas. The owners, Roberta, Alice and her sister were constantly working to improve our stay. Benedetta delighted us with her nightly “snacks” and aperitivos at sunset and Donatella made us melt in the mouth, ever changing breakfasts which were served like afternoon teas as they are not permitted buffets due to covid. So much to choose from in the morning …fresh fruit, yoghurt, selection of homemade jams (grazie Bennie) assortment of meats, cheeses, breads and rolls. Also mini quiches, pizzas and sweet pasties. ALL the lovely accessories in the room….shampoos etc but then the extras…the room was beautifully scented from perfumed sticks to the lovely lady cleaning the room whom I saw going around and spraying a scent throughout the bedroom and bathroom (which was ultra chic with lashings of hot water and soft white towels) We had an early morning ferry and a knock at our door revealed someone dropping of a packed breakfast ..four sandwiches, water and juices. Can not recommend this place highly enough. We will book again for next year. EVERY need is catered for. Absolutely delightful

This place is like a family run B&B and a Boutique Hotel rolled into one fantastic little gem on the Amalfi coast. The owner and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. They arranged special extras in the room upon arrival, made fantastic dinner recommendations and booked for us car services and tours that we wanted during our stay. The room is spacious and very nice. The best part is the terrace with its breathtaking view of the pier and mount Vesuvius in the distance. You can have drinks and light meals up there at night as well as coffee and breakfast. It’s location is perfect for getting the elevator up to the plaza and of course close to the beach and a nice restaurant and little shopping area a hundred feet away. Nothing but great things to say about Marina Piccola 73. We will be back for sure.

A must stay with top notch detail to service
Wonderful stay. Highly recommend Marina Piccolo 73. Staff met our car hire as soon as we pulled up, helped with luggage, checked T’s in and gave us tour of facility and room. Suggested restaurants, gave us map and directions. Water front where ferries leave and easy walk to everything. Can’t say enough good things about this place! Asked at check in what we lined for breakfast and morning staff had a wonderful feast on rooftop terrace with things we said we liked and more! Breakfast and staff were amazing!

Best stay in Sorento!!.. As you are literally on the water, straight across is the ferry station!.. Town, is a lift away or straight up walk of 300+ stairs!! Mom and daughter hotel!.. Gracious, helpful, fun, and disarming !! Absolutely loved this hotel!

A boutique hotel more than a B&B
Amazing location (at the harbor, strategically located for everything). super attentive service by the staff It's a B&B property but It feels like an upscale boutique hotel. We had an awesome 3 days vacation, it was perfect to take the ferry to Capri.

Amazing views and great service
We had the most wonderful 3 night stay at Marina Piccola in October. Our room was beautiful with views right across the harbour, the breakfast was the best I have had at a hotel, and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive; their recommendations of restaurants was second to none and we came away really impressed every night! Thank you so much for making out staying so enjoyable & I really could not recommend staying here anymore!

This property was beautiful, unique and the best experience. All the staff went above and beyond. Bed and pillows were the most comfortable on our travels through Italy. Views were so amazing. I will definitely stay here again on our return trip to Italy.

Loved this B&B! I've never stayed in anything like this. The woman on the night shift at check-in was so helpful. She helped us drive ALONG THE WATER on the narrow path to the complimentary parking area. She also allowed us to store our luggage in the office while we did a day trip to Capri. The view from the room was outstanding. A lovely breakfast buffet in the morning too.

Best breakfast ever!
Lovely view, outstanding breakfast. This hotel is off the beaten path and is amazingly quiet. The rooms are large and well appointed. To get to the main part of Sorrento you have a bit of a walk to an elevator that takes you up the hill. This hotel is located near the water. The breakfast was the best part.
