The location of the hotel was excellent, within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The hotel itself was ok, although dated. Breakfast included was very good.

Loved the Roof top Terrace and also the terrace off of the Lobby. Staff was great. Enjoyed the delicious breakfast and dinners in the restaurant. Bedroom was very small. Great location.

Good Hotel in Sorrento
This is a good hotel within walking distance of the train station, marina, and all the restaurants and shops in Sorrento. The staff is very friendly and helpful with giving directions. Free breakfast is included, and the rooms are air-conditioned. There's an amazing rooftop view. The room was very clean. The only issue was the Wi-Fi would not stay connected, and when it did connect, it was very slow.

3 star hotel - 5 star service
This is most definitely a 3 star hotel with 5 star service. The staff were excellent, and Daniele at the front desk was very helpful with travel advice. The view from the roof terrace is exceptional. We both thoroughly enjoyed her stay here and thought the food was excellent. Breakfast had a fantastic selection of cooked and continental foods. I've read some of the negative reviews around this hotel and do not know what some people are expecting when after all, they've booked to stay in a 3 star hotel.... In our experience, the hotel was excellent and the staff provided a 5 star service. Excellent value for money.

Beautiful Sorrento
Loved the rooftop bar and the breakfast. Room comfortable but just s little fridge in the room to have water in would have made a big difference. Great location close to everything. We loved Sorrento all the beautiful views and restaurants and with a fold up mobility scooter easy to get around

First: The LOCATION!!! Is excellent. But it's expensive. The hotel/room is clean, but very old style. Strangely, there is no kleenex in the room. The towels are like a dish towel, but they are strangely effective. You just pass them on you and it attracts water. The roof spa close very early, so unless you spend you day in the hotel, you can never use it. There is a grocery right in front that is open until 1am. Breakfast is good. So if you can find another one that offer better rooms for the same price, go for the other one. Because this one, you are paying for the location. The room is really ordinary (but clean).

Perfect location for walking the old town of Sorrento. They offer a wonderful breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausages, fresh bread and buns, fruits, cheese and meats, good coffee and juices. There is a roof top lounging area, with a small cool pool to sit in; it has an sea view. The room is small and without a bar fridge, but good AC. There is also a small balcony that you can sit on and watch the locals and tourists walk by. The location is perfect for walking all the streets in the old town and getting to the port. All shopping and eating establishments are very close by; you can shop, eat, and return to your room and start again many times throughout the day. There is a small store right across the street where you can get water, fruit, and wine.

Great stay!
Besides the towels being thin, the experience was great. It’s in a great location, a cold jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace, great drinks at the bar and luggage holding service. The live music was a plus!

Very simple property, bed was not comfortable. Jacuzzi was not heated which was very misleading and disappointing. Breakfasts were good and extensive and the location of the hotel was wonderful.

We really enjoyed our trip to Sorrento. Explored Capri and walked the town. Missed the Blue lagoon because of the tides. Gelato was great everywhere! Hotel Tirrenia has great people working there. The desk lady was very informative and I'm sorry to say that I can't find my notes to nudge my brain of her name. Only small nuisance was the traffic noise. When you book ask for a room at the back.

Great location, amazing breakfast!
We had a great stay at this hotel. The place is clean and the location is perfect. It was perfect for a 3 night stay. It's within minutes from the train station, and restaurants. There is also a variety store right across and a laundromat if you're interested. I also want to mention, buffet breakfast is also included which includes hot and cold food and plenty of pastries and cakes

Good location, get a room at the back, sea views.
For a 3 star Hotel, our experience was good. Arrived way too early just expecting to drop our bags off to go off to explore and check in later but our room was already available at 11.00. Rear facing and with a partial sea view, the room was satisfactory. The bathroom had a bath and a good powerful shower. WiFi though is OK when connected but it's sometimes difficult to connect and it drops out frequently. Staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location at the end of the main shopping street. Good choice at breakfast. Very good rooftop terrace with loungers and great views but the rooftop jacuzzi was closed even though all the hotel info said it was open from 1st May. Nice lounge area. Overall, would stay again.

The stay overall was great. Breakfast was good and we also chose to have dinner at the hotel for one night. The dinner was great and it was very good value for money. The location is excellent. The bed linen/blanket cover could be more comfortable. The main downside is that it is next to a busy street and the sound proof of windows is not great. If you are not bothered about the noise (like me), this will be a great choice.

location very good in the centre ,breakfast very abundant ,lots of snacks,hot breakfast ,fruit very impressed.Nice panorama from the roof terrace -Vesuvius is seen from there One disadvantage is that city tax is not included in the price so we were surprised when we had to pay extra 12 euros at the end ,-we had little cash left so was a bit bad surprise

In historic district, restaurants, shopping, marinas,sights walkable to metro , Sita buses to visit Positano, Amalfi and Ravello and Capri by ferry You can also take the metro and it stops in Pompeii. All these places are great and accessible for day trips from Sorrento.
