Oceanside Getaway
Great location and space. Great amenities and the suite was well stocked with necessities. The only comment I have is that instructions for hot tub need to be more specific about the chemicals that need to be added.

Beautiful Stay by the water
This is a small cute spot near a beautiful body of water. While the area isn't particularly walkable and you'll share the land with several other small structures, the location is tranquil, the place clean, the kitchen well-stocked with cookware, and the accomodations are comfortable. Our only very small issues (not worth reconsidering your stay overall just something to think about), the hot tub had algae in it which, if you really want a hot tub, you may have to consider if that bothers you. And two, the check-in information wasn't communicated through VRBO it was communicated through a private email from the rental company so we were confused upon arrival. Once we accessed the information, however, the process of getting in was very smooth. We had a great time and would absolutely stay again.

Hot tub was dirty, apartment was smelly. The dock pictured is a short walk away and not exactly private. Could have found a better place for cheaper.

College friends annual weekend getaway
We had a great weekend here. Sooke is a lovely little town. We recommend Wild Mountain for dinner if you are not in a rush... or maybe make a reservation. The cottage is clean, the two king beds are very comfortable. You can hear noise from the highway, but traffic dies way down by bedtime and it did not bother us or keep us awake at all. The hot tub was clean, hot and very relaxing. If you are using the electric hot plates for cooking, make sure to put the pan on the plate before attempting to use it. All in all it was exactly as described.

Overall a cute place to stay. Nice decor, very well stocked. Our only real issues were: we found the tv to be glitchy, shut off randomly, and there was no remote for dvd player--couldn't use it.

Nice little spot.
This is a nice little spot in Sooke, BC. Quaint, and worked well for two friends meeting up from different places across Canada. The highway was loud at times, but you got used to it. And liked that you had access to the dock/beach by a short walk. Only downside was that kitchen items needed an upgrade (a few frying pans were burnt, and had to use). Great communication with manager. Recommended overall.

We will be back:) such a beautiful spot❤️ Quite private:) the only suggestion would be that the fence cover the entire hot tub / patio area so that it’s more private. Other than that, amazing !

An Oceanside gem
This is by far one is the most beautiful and meticulously maintained rentals I have ever stayed at and I will definitely be returning. I have already been recommending it to others. Thank you so much for a wonderful and very comfortable stay!

The rental was close to road so traffic was very loud , hard to sleep , hottub didn’t work , there was mold on windows , kitchen set up was great and walking down to water was nice , beds weren’t comfortable !

Great Stay
A pleasant, clean cottage with everything we needed. The decor was a nice touch. Great location. The management was very responsive (we had a minor problem with the sink which was very quickly resolved). The information document should be updated as there are some inaccuracies. We had a very pleasant stay.

Comfortable Home away from home
The cottage was everything as advertised. The spotlessly clean home had all the amenities and the complimentary coffee was so appreciative. We enjoyed the assortment of games for which provided us with lots of bonding time. A short drive away from town and we’ll positioned for day trips up and down the coast. The beds were super comfortable and despite the traffic noise we all had restful sleeps. We enjoyed the many nautical touches and tried to count all the octopi! The art, especially the larger pieces from the Saltspring artist, throughout the rooms were stunning

Beautiful spot, shared garden and dock views amazing. The property was clean and well equipped and staff friendly. Sooke road was much busier than we realized so the unit we stayed in did have a fair bit of traffic noise and the hot tub did not work during our 5 day stay. The management company did try to resolve this however which we appreciated.

Close to the water
Online listing was accurate. Good enough size for a family of 4. Unfortunately, we needed a few stuff and booklet Instructions said to knock on their door anytime we needed anything. When we did, we were told they no longer owned that place and said they can't help us. The number listed was that of the old owner too. The information booklet needs an update for sure. But over all, the place wasn't too bad and we had a good time.

It was great!
The property manager promptly answered all my questions along the way, and even checked in (via email) the first morning. The place was clean and had everything we could need. We took our chairs and had lunch out on the deck overlooking the water. The only negative was that you could hear traffic in the front bedroom. We didn’t really notice it during the day. It wasn’t horrible but it might bother you if you are a sensitive sleeper. There was no issues with the other room. We would happily come back and stay again.

Great Stay!
The house was exactly as advertised! When we arrived the house was spotless, which in COVID times is greatly appreciated. Hot tub is a great addition to the space. Each room had a TV (which we didn’t use) as well as a king size bed in each room. We will definetly be returning!
