Room was very clean and lovely, and the beds very comfortable. The courtyard with hot tub, sauna and pool was beautiful and we enjoyed all three. The area is very walkable and the room was cleaned promptly each morning. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because part of the property is under renovation so the lobby was temporary and the breakfast was not complete.

March 2024 Facility was under renovation. Remodeled rooms not completely finished. Entry way to Inn blocked, had to circle the block and enter via the exit driveway. Heater in room very noisy, turned it OFF at night. Hot shower water not hot enough. Small makeup mirror at sink missing. Lighting dim. Website advertises Complimentary Sonoma Country Breakfast...was actually a continental breakfast in the makeshift lobby. Staff was polite and accommodating, but certain parts of the experience were not as satisfying as hoped, or expected. Perhaps when the remodel process is totally completed and management has given the entire facility a thorough test run a higher rating will be warranted. PS would be nice to have a couple electrical outlets in the outdoor fire pit area for phone charging.

The staff and management were very helpful when our plans changed due to a death in the family. Beautiful newly renovated room. Great new shower. Walking distance to Sonoma Film Festivsl events and fabulous dining spots. Loved the fireplace, as always. Great place to stay in the Sonoma / Napa area especially for Infineon Raceway. Cheers

Booked a 1 night stay (sun-mon), once we arrived we had to wait til after lunch to get a room -not a problem that normal. After a good day around town, one expects and nice comfortable relaxing good night rest in their room, right? Well let me tell you, the hotel is in a renovation stage (which Expedia nor the Best Western website doesn’t disclose). We actually got an updated room but we had to suffer the consequences of electrical work not done correctly. Our vanity mirror had a built-in light and we couldn’t even turn off. The bathroom exhaust fan remained on all night, switch would turn off but it kept turning back on. Can picture this? We couldn’t even sleep due to the light on and the noise coming from the bathroom. Also the front door lock was not working properly. I called the front desk to see what can be done. Shortly, the maintenance groundskeeper came by and was dumbfounded on the issues. He said he would report it in the morning and that’s that! SMH I was not only upset but now I had a restless night when you’re supposed to be enjoying a weekend anniversary getaway. To top it off, at 630 in the morning, we started to here work trucks parking right next the our window. Just imagine all the workers unloading all their tools on Monday morning? So- no sleep all night and now the noise of the construction. Not nice

I've staid here multiple times, always good and in a convenient area. This time they had construction going on which was no fun but not a big deal.

We have stayed here before when we go wine tasting in Sonoma. It's a short walk to the plaza. The free breakfast is good. We love the hot tub. Be sure you have a room on the first floor with a convenient sliding glass door to the garden.

I don't understand the five-dollar parking pass thing. As I understand,non-guests were using the parking spaces. So I had to pay $5.00 for a pass. It's just a piece of paper. Only one place to get it. It should have just been handed to me. I know it's just five bucks, but if I hadn't paid it you would have towed the car of a legitimate guest. I hope you choke on it.

Dear ErickYes we charge a parking fee as many other hotels do. Non guests are not allowed to park or they would in fact have their cars towed. We have workmen on the property doing a large project. The only people property who park on our property are our paying guests, staff and vendors. Centrally located in the center of Sonoma. A large shopping center directly across the street, and only a short walk to the main town square. Room was quaint (not modern) but very clean and comfy. Even had a wood burning fireplace (supplied with duralogs). Simple grab & go continental breakfast (tasty muffins and bagels). Only complaint is that the HVAC unit is very noisy at night.

I’ve stayed at this particular best western a handful of times and the sheets are always just retucked you can tell by the wrinkles

Dear PamelaThank you for taking the time to post a reveiw.I did want to let you know that we do was the sheets every time and replace them with fresh sheets.The reason for the wrinkles is that our dryer is so hot and when the hot sheets come out - they get put into a large bin w all the clean laundry and it does not always get folded right away. So that is the reason for the wrinkles- not us reusing the sheets.Just FYIThanksKComfort

It is a really nice hotel with friendly staff. I would have appreciated more power outlets in the room. It was a little complicated to charge phones on both sides of the bed. Minor issue of course.

Location, location, location !
Very good place to stay one block off of the Sonoma square. Easy walking to shops and restaurants. Excellent location to visit all the wineries in the Sonoma county. Location, location, location!!! Newly redecorated rooms are fantastic

Great location and friendly staff.The property is currently be renovated however it was quiet during our stay. The breakfast was minimal and they charged $5.00 for parking which was a surprise. I would definitely stay there again.

The price for the room was fair. I expected to be more due to the area. I will definitely stay here again. The whole experience was exquisite. I recommend this hotel. A five star in my eyes.

Property is very dated, but has an outstanding location from the Sonoma square. They were doing construction when we stayed there, so one side of the building was blocked and we heard loud construction noises next door to our room. We were not warned about the construction when we booked this stay.

There was major construction going on right next to our room, which blocked one entrance on to the property. The worst thing about it was the noise. It would have been nice to be warned about it before booking. We stayed two nights here for a wedding and couldn’t take naps.
