It has all modern conveniences including central heat, central A/C and two car garage with remote opener. It is a true wine country retreat! Beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage located in a private, hillside setting with views of the distant hills. Yet it is located only 2+ miles from the historic Sonoma Plaza. Open floor plan. It has a beautifully remodeled kitchen with limestone counters, wood floors and large fireplace with matching limestone surround and hearth. There are French doors leading to a large deck equipped with a gas BBQ and patio furniture making it an ideal place for eating and relaxing outdoors. Both bathrooms have been remodeled with luxurious appointments. The master bedroom has French doors leading to another private deck, a perfect place to have your morning coffee or your evening glass of wine watching the sunset. Lavender Hill Cottage has all the amenities that you would expect in a wine country retreat including central A/C, central heat, large 2 car garage, much original art work, gourmet kitchen and lovely views. In the main living area you will find a 50" HD TV, DVD player with internet connection and movie library. There are 32" flat panel TVs in each bedroom. Lavender Hill Cottage is located in a peaceful neighborhood and quiet hours begin at 9 pm. Max number of guests is 4\. Please be respectful of our neighbors. B. 15 sept. 2025 Points forts : Propreté My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was very clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. The master bed was very comfortable. There is a door from the bedroom to the outdoor deck with a table and chairs to sit and relax. There is also a door from the living/dining room to the other side of the deck with a nice table and chairs to sit and enjoy a meal outside. There are multiple TV's to use and lots of books and games to use. We did experience a little difficulty unlocking the 2 locks on the doors to the deck and the host helped us via phone right away to solve the issue. They were very quick to respond. The master bathroom has a very, very deep soaker tub/shower with sliding shower doors attached. I did not use this tub for showering as I'm short, but the other bathroom has a walk-in shower, which, of course, was much easier to use. Also, if you're following your GPS or your google maps directions, it has you coming to the property from the south. The left turn you need to make onto the driveway is a very sharp left turn. Not impossible to do, but it is much easier if you can come from the other direction, making it an easy right turn onto the driveway. Overall, we were pleased with this lovely home. ##### D. B. Great to have two king bedded rooms too. The tub in the master bath was not good for us, as it was quite deep and with glass sliders. There was nothing to grab onto stepping in or out. My husband nearly fell getting out. He’s 6 feet too. I am short, so did not even try. The hall bath does have an easier to access shower, so it was OK. Otherwise, it was a great stay and the deck was fabulous to hang out in the afternoon. We got take-out for dinner and that was perfect for us to enjoy our private time together. The roads in the neighborhood are narrow and winding, so you need to be mindful. If you drive a large vehicle, it may be intimidating. ##### Janice D.
