Not enough counter space in the bathroom - nowhere to put HABAs or shaving kit. 4+ pillows that clogged up the bed, obscuring napping or sleeping space. 1pillow per person would have been find. Very old, ornate antique everything. If you like that, then this is right for you. The breakfast, prepared by hostess Lucille, was delicious. Baked breads prepared by herself, jams, , eggs, and fresh fruit, with juices and coffee to accompany the meal. The owner has been doing this for over 35 years, the concept is nothing new to her. It is very European, you’re staying in a cozy room within her home. We had our own bedroom and bathroom, it all felt very private, and un-rushed. This was one of our more relaxing stays, the street was quiet, which may have aided in that serene feeling. Breakfast the next day was wonderful, we had so many options.
