The cottage is in a great location, close to the trail to downtown Sonoma, but feels like it is far in the country. Super private and charming. Comfy bed, nice furnishings. I should have paid more attention to the RUSTIC part. The kitchen was just pretty much non -existent. Bathroom sink for a kitchen sink made it hard to wash wine glasses. minimal amenities, etc. Bed was comfortable and overall I would say great location. Don't expect much of the place and you won't be disappointed. Probably wouldn't stay there again. We like to cook and I should have paid more attention to no stove and lacking kitchen. The kitchen is not very functional with a bathroom sink instead of kitchen sink, very small coffee maker and microwave and an antique stove for decoration. Even though there was an ice bucket, there was no way to make ice and no icemaker on the property. Bathroom is very cramped for two people. Phyllis is extremely responsive but we were not able to regain internet connection to the t.v. after the power to the router was shut off when someone plugged it into a socket controlled by a wall switch. Fortunately, we had a laptop and USB cable to watch movies. We peeked into the other cottages which looked like they were set up more generously. ##### Tom A.
