Hotel room was a bit dated.

The hotel staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for you they were very polite and helpful give us information of local attractions. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay there for the night. If we are down that part of the country again we will definitely stay there.

Spacious room, clean and cheap convenient

Posted 16-Jan-2016
We needed a hotel to break our journey. This Days Inn was very convenient and inexpensive. The room was larger and better equipped than expected. Well pleased!

Good stopping off point

Posted 10-Jan-2016 on Hotels
Hotel was easy to find. Night porter was pleasant and let me in. In was blowing a gale outside, so I was pleased that he came to the door quickly. He sorted out my paperwork and key in super quick time. The room was lovely. Just right for an overnight stop and quite spacious. I would certainly stay there again.

Means to "The End"

Posted 8-Jan-2016 on Hotels
This is a poor quality Days Inn, Their prices are less than other Days Inn's but the quality of the place is poor, tired poorly kept. Bath was stained all over, bathroom bin not emptied, no sink plug on arrival. Reception did not know we had paid in advance and was looking for further payment. Manager enjoyed his mobile phone but not much customer service. Would only stay again if desperate or improvements made. Would not recomend

Would not stay again.

Generally the room was clean & tidy, if a little tired. I was charged double the amount I was told I'd have to pay for my dogs when booking, which was double anything I'd paid previously. While the lady on reception was helpful in relocating me to a ground floor room, neither she or the manager were interested in discussing why I was charged twice the usual amount. I usually pick Days Inn because of their dog friendly policy & their reasonable charges for dogs, but I am not sure I will be using them again based on this experience.

Location: Very close to Taunton yet felt far enough!
Hotel was nice and peaceful. Reception staff were very good thank you! The cleaning staff did not always do a thorough job in my room!

It was ideal for a one night stop over on my way to Cornwall after a long days work. Staff pleasant and welcoming.
