"The air conditioning was awful!! LOUD. the vent was next to the bed so every time it cut in it woke us up. Also there was something in the vent that was rattling. Worst sleep ever."

"We stayed here for a week and overall had a good experience, but there were a few things worth noting. The biggest issue for us was the location, it was not where it appeared on the listing when we booked. It looked like it was directly across from the beach, but in reality it’s about a 15 minute bike ride each way. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely misleading.That said, we ended up spending most of our time at the house anyway, and it worked out well for our family. We have a 3 yo who absolutely loved the pool, it was a perfect size and a great setup for us. The house itself was beautiful and very clean.One of the highlights was the dock. We saw manatees come right up to it and even spotted a couple of stingrays, which was really cool. My husband also did a lot of fishing off the dock and caught several large fish. The fishing poles provided were pretty worn, but one of them was usable.The location ended up being convenient in other ways, Publix was close enough to walk or bike to for quick trips, and it was an easy drive to most places we wanted to go.The only other small issue was confusion around recycling, as we didn’t see a bin.Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the listing location should definitely be more accurate."

"House and location were perfect. Very close 5 minute walk to the beach. Pool was great! House was very nice for 3 couples. Each couple had their own bedroom/bathroom and wasn’t on top of each other. House had everything we needed. I would definitely stay again in the near future."

"The updates to this home are beautiful! We love the screened in porch! The updated pool heater was a plus! It felt like a home away from home. Host was amazing and responsive! Would stay again and again and recommend!!!"

"The photos do this house justice. We had planned a fishing, diving, family vacation, ages 1 through 12 for the 7 kids and 14 adults. The wind blew us off the water for the first few days but the property and nearby beach/park kept us busy. Between a Key West day, an Islamorada (Robbies) day and the local aquarium, we didnt miss a beat. There was plenty of room for my flats boat in the “jet ski” slip and we also had a 22’ Pathfinder and a 19’ Tarpon flats boat that we doubled up on the main dock. Very small “no wake” zone with great access to the bay as well as the ocean. 3 washing machines, 3 dryers. 5 refrigerators, 1 large “bait” freezer, 1 industrial sized ice maker…the list goes on and on. Mallory was great. Had a wonderful time. "

"They had advertised a boat dock and then somewhere in the advertisement they said the dock was not operational. Horrible. We got there we thought things are OK but we found out the pool was low, but I’m not a poor expert. The pool people came in the middle of the week and as the kids wanted to play in the pool, we were all down there, the pool people said you cannot go in the pool for four hours. That means that the pool I pay to have heated was not heated and yet no money in return, the sliding glass door with entry into the kitchen is almost without rollers, very hard to operate and the front door just rattles when the wind blows. American coastal is the poorest management arrangement you could have. I would fire them immediately."
