You can walk right up to a lift or take a convenient shuttle to another lift area. You don't need a car at this location if you just want to ski for a few days and don't need all the night time options. Our host Arjun took care of EVERYTHING. The check-in process was effortless. Our kids were outside having a snowball fight literally 5 minutes after we arrived at the property. The cost per night is much more reasonable compared to what you would find at Park City. The lift ticket price is also reasonable especially for kids. Lines at the lifts are short. Solitude is really a hidden gem. We will be coming back again next year! Tip: We took a Lyft ride from the SLC Airport to a Walmart near KTR center (there is also a Dick's Sporting Goods nearby if you need to get some gears) to get groceries before going up to the mountains. The Lyft/Uber rate fluctuates quite a big depending on availability. Sometimes if you re-check the rate 5 minutes later you can get a ride for $20 cheaper. ##### David L.
