The location of this condo was prefect - less than 10 minute walk to the Village so we were out of the fray, but close enough to gage a home base during the day. The condo was in great shape and had everything we needed. It was our first summer trip to Snowshoe (we usually get up 2-3 times in the winter) and won't be our last. The condo was spotless and beautiful. Master bedroom spacious, beds very comfortable, kitchen well-appointed with crockpot, coffee maker keurig for whichever you prefer, toaster, blender, mixers….. HEATED FLOORS in the kitchen!!! Trail to ski slope—we were there when snow had melted, but it was an easy minute walk over to the snow-covered run. 5 minute walk to village. It's the bottom floor unit so didn't have a lot of steps to climb getting in and out. In spite of the 2deg F and 25mph winds, the condo was plenty warm with heaters by each of the windows. There were even heaters under the kitchen tiles which were really appreciated to keep your feet from freezing while prepping meals. The place was clean and beds were comfortable. The two bedrooms and large living space left us with plenty of room for a family of 5\. The entryway mudroom is nice so we didn't have to bring our skis all the way into the living area. The only thing you can't help but notice is how uneven the floors are, but otherwise the unit is in good condition.As for getting to the slopes, we just walked 200yds to the other end of the complex and caught the Whistlepunk Trail just below the Powder Monkey lift.
