HIGHLIGHTS: Great location, easy 2 minute walk to ski lifts, ski-in, view from hot tub, full “chef's” kitchen, practically everything is new, king size bed, luxury leather queen sofa sleeper, high-end furniture from Arhaus and Woodley’s, Cathedral ceiling and deck, lots of storage space, and free covered assigned parking attached to building near elevator. Within walking distance, free EV car chargers. Ski-in, easy walk to ski base! Lichenhearth ski-in condo, located next door to the Snowmass Base Village. Easy, 2 minute walk to the ski lift and gondola across the backyard next to our lovely pool and hot tub area, no streets to cross! Ski-in to the side door of our condo. The Base Village has the Sky Cab (affectionately known as Skittles), Village Express Lift, Elk Camp Gondola and Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center. You will have the best of both worlds, being near the heart of the Base Village, which is filled with shops, restaurants and a tiny grocery store or hop on the free Sky Cab to be whisked away to the Snowmass Mall for even more shops and restaurants. There is also a lovely trail meandering amongst the condos, between the Base Village and Snowmass Mall (Upper Village) where you will see trees, bushes, flowers, and deer on occasion. Fresh remodel and completely refurnished with new carpet and paint, reclaimed wood accents on tile flooring, handcrafted knotty alder king bedroom set, American Leather queen sofa (the Cadillac of sofa sleepers with an elite, proper mattress; no bars, no springs). Fairfield Townsend Bistro table, countertop height, and Amisco, Ronny swivel stools. Everything in the condo is brand new. The Cathedral ceiling and deck bring in plenty of sunshine and allow you to enjoy the tree filled, peaceful backyard. We have even seen a few deer wander past our deck! Living nearby in Golden, Colorado we spend a lot of time at our condo and we're sure you'll feel right at home. To name a few of the luxuries, we have robes, fluffy towels, 8 pillows, and nice sheets. The condo is fully equipped for cooking with everything from a crock pot to a fondue pot, including Wusthof knives, All-Clad 13-Piece Cookware Set, Blendtech blender, and a Bosch dishwasher for cleanup. As one of our guests said, a chef’s kitchen! We try to keep extra items stocked such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, laundry detergent, tea, olive oil, and spices just to name a few items. Plus we have a ski rack inside the condo and a bike/ski room on the ground floor. The Lichenhearth complex itself is delightful. We prefer smaller complexes (less than 40 units at the Lichenhearth). The Lichenhearth has two buildings with a pool and hot tub located outside between them. Looking at the exterior of the buildings, you will feel as if you are in the alps. Filled with charm! From our condo, you can see a glimpse of Hanging Valley Wall in the distance, near the ski mountain top. The view from the hot tub is spectacular as you look at the Snowmass ski mountains! Other items we really enjoy, electric fireplace, washer/dryer in the condo, BBQ on deck, heated streets on Carriage Way prior to turning into the Lichenhearth driveway, covered/assigned parking (88”h x 110”w) attached to building (no snow or rain between your car and our front door) near elevator even though there are only two floors (located on top floor). This is a well maintained updated Snowmass mountain condo at the Lichenhearth with easy walk to the base village, the Tree House and lift/gondola. The condo itself is so well cared for with luxury details and everything you need. The setting is quiet, serene and comfortable. The location is just steps from the base village and so easy to get anywhere on the mountain. The price, the unit was in immaculate condition- very comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower, every possible cooking utensil in the kitchen plus a rack of every spice imaginable. The ski/in ski/out was great- elevators to the 3rd floor very convenient, parking spot steps away from the elevator. There was everything we could possibly need from seasonings to oil to plenty of blankets. We even forgot lotion and was pleasantly surprised to see they had some. First, Tammy and Dan are incredibly helpful and responsive—you couldn’t ask for better hosts. Second, the condo is lovely. We immediately felt cozy and at home. They have thought of everything and it helped make the stay stress free and so very enjoyable. The bed is super comfy, the condo is well-appointed and the pictures don’t do the unit or patio justice. It’s a wonderful place! Third, the location is incredibly convenient! Even as someone with limited mobility due to a recent surgery, we had no trouble accessing Skittles and the local shuttles (both are steps from the door!), and the parking space with easy access to the unit was the icing on the cake. We loved that there were extra cooking supplies and great cookware so we could eat in one night. The king bed was so comfortable and the living room was nice and cozy with a gas fireplace.
