Newly remodeled cabin on quiet lake w/no public access in Spooner, WI.

"Awesome setup- really well appointed for enjoying your time at the cabin or on the lake and not running around to get supplies or things to do. Everything was comfortable and we never ran out of things to do (in fact, we didn’t do everything we had wanted to do!). We would ’ve stayed longer if we had the time. Thanks to the great hosts!"

"This was our second stay here, and we loved it! The beach is shared with a few cabins, but the beach is a large space with room for everyone, and we had the beach to ourselves for part of our stay. Sleeping on the sleeping porch looking over the water can't be beat, and our teenagers happily took over the bunkhouse for themselves! The lake is quiet and beautiful! We spent much of our time swimming, sunbathing, kayaking, and playing board games. What a great place to unplug and reconnect with "lake life" and each other!"

"Very clean and well-stocked (plenty of toilet paper and paper towels, which was great!). Relaxing area— ideal for good sleep and board games. We always come prepared in case there is nothing in the cabinets but there were some staples like sugar— I would probably go through those though because a few of the other spices we looked at were expired. I would also say that the night lights throughout were great as were the kid dishes but there were a lot of breakable knickknacks close to little hands so we just moved them out of reach. Upstairs loft is great for kids but one of the beds is VERY close to the stairs so don’t know if I would encourage anyone to use it. So sleeps closer to 9 than 10 but wasn’t a problem for us. Host was very responsive to any questions. Bar area does not have a fridge which is fine but was a surprise! Fridge upstairs is broken in several areas which made stocking a bit tricky but worked fine. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware just no measuring cups only measuring spoons if you plan to cook anything that needs a cup. Lake is low this year but super easy drive to other boat landings and beaches. Found a cute ice cream shop close by— The Shoppe. And explored the town of Spooner on a rainy day. Both very worth the drive. Only other note would be that the main area does get quite hot during the day, even with a/c, which makes sense with the lovely view. Just wish there had been a few more shades on the rectangular windows for temp/light control."
