Sea Gods Blessing is the smartest floor plan on the island; open enough for your large family to gather together for meals and dolphin watching in the large airy living area on the top floor, yet maximizing sleep time privacy throughout the home. Mom and Dad's suite on the top floor has total privacy and a door out to the oceanfront deck for peaceful morning coffee before the gang wakes up. The midlevel houses another queen suite and two bunkrooms that can hold up to ten kids! Even though this home is on a quiet, family focused residential beach strand, the restaurants, shops, and wine bars are only a quick 6-minute drive to the center of Surf City. Families who love to be at the beach all day will be blessed at Sea God's Blessing. Sandwiched between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, “Tops’l” as the locals call it, is home to several fishing piers including the Seaview Fishing Pier. 875 feet of planks were used to construct this pier, which is the longest pier on the North Carolina coast. The views were amazing. Great beach. We did have some issues with the house. When we arrived (end of November) the heat was not working in the 2nd level of the house. This was Thanksgiving evening so there was no chance of getting it fixed. It should have been checked before we arrived. It was later the next day when the electrician came out to fix it. There were several things in the home that were broken. i.e. Blinds, air vents, closet doors. The plumbing in the 2nd floor queen's shower is backwards, (Hot is cold, cold is hot.) Overall we enjoyed our stay. ##### Sue H.
