This was our first time staying in North Topsail and we will definitely be back. The home has everything you could need and is laid out perfectly for a large family. We travel with our older parents so having the elevator was convenient for them. We love the quick walk to the pier and enjoyed fishing from the surf and pier. The home was very clean and the check out process was smooth with easy steps to follow. Everything was wonderful. We all are thinking of trying to stay there again as soon as we get our schedule figured out. It was one of the best place we have ever stayed and there have been many( over 25 years). We had a 3 yo and a 75 yo and it was easy for all to get in and out ,up via elevator. It's a duplex with a mirror image next door (currently for sale).The elevator is very handy for those of us with bad knees. It's small though, no more than 2 or 3 people or one person and luggage. The beach is very close and lovely, decks and hot tub in good shape and plenty of seating. The only thing I'd say is that while the pier is close to the house via the beach, you do have to walk along the side of the road (no shoulder) to access the pier itself through the store, and it does cost 4/person/day as it is privately owned. We found quite a few small shark teeth on the beach. The AC works great and the kitchen is well appointed, beds are comfy. Not many beach chairs for a large group. I think there were 4 that worked.
