We loved the added touch of the hot tub and the neighborhood was quiet. There was a huge yard for the dogs to roam and for our 5yo to find sticks when we weren’t beaching it. The only downfall, for us, was the one bathroom. We have 3 pre-teen/teen girls, but they managed!! :) The owner was prompt when we had questions and was happy to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We were basically only there to visit the beach and local parks.We enjoyed the stay and exploring the area. It was beautiful weather up until the storms off hurricane Idailia were coming close. We decided to leave early to avoid any issues.Both dogs did well and it was an easy place to bring them too.It is easy entry in and out. My wife and I came with our daughter, my son’s best friend, and both our elderly dogs , to see our son who is stationed at Camp Lejeune in the Marines. My wife was in love with the house, and the kids enjoyed hot tub. The home was inviting and clean. Plenty of sleeping spaces and cozy. Had a nice big fenced yard for the dogs. Check in/out was easy. We had everything we needed. I especially enjoyed the Blackstone griddle. The home was located very close to the base, the beach, restaurants and stores. The neighbors were welcoming, and kindly shared a beer and some laughs with us. They should of put a light out where you could watch your step walking down to the fire pit. We were told after the fact that the place was recently gutted and rehabbed and it showed! Paint splatters all over the cabinets and closet doors that wouldn’t open. Had to go and buy garbage bags to replace the ones we pulled, because there was no ones to be found. We were visiting our Marine son and his girlfriend stayed with us one night and apparently that wasn’t allowed! They really needed to spend more time addressing bigger issues, instead of worrying so much about the decor! I smoked a few times outside. I guess I should of smoked in my vehicle!
