Cabinets, closets, and any outbuildings which are locked are not available for guest use. The amenities provided for each cabin are for the use of that cabin only. You will also have use of the following at each Kiamichi Cabin: - Fire pit – firewood not provided - Free Wi-Fi - Grill – most properties have a charcoal grill, a few still have gas grills. - Hot Tub - Washer and Dryer We use express check-in and checkout. Our goal is for you to have the least amount of interaction with our staff as possible. If some issue does arise, we will work to keep interruptions to a necessary minimum. Staff and management are local to the area. Directions & access code are sent out a week prior to arrival using one of the following methods: Kiamichi Cabins Website or Agent Bookings – information will be emailed one week prior to scheduled arrival. VRBO / Expedia Family - – information will be emailed one week prior to scheduled arrival. AirBNB - – information will be sent through the AirBNB messaging app one week prior to scheduled arrival. Our office is not open after 5pm or on weekends – emails are not checked regularly during this time. Located in the heart of Kiamichi country lies the incomparable splendor of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Beaver’s Bend State Park, the Ouachita National Forest and the Kiamichi Mountains, this is the place to lose yourself in hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing. The place to find yourself while surrounded by tall pines, crisp rivers and clean mountain air. The place to make memories that you will draw on for a lifetime. The Beavers’ Bend / Hochatown area does not have public transportation. There is at this time a private ride share company that will pick up and drop off between most cabins and area attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc. There is currently not any Uber or Lyft options. All cabins located in the Hochatown area are 5 to 15 minutes from most destinations around the lake and park. This of course depends on traffic. Summer and other peak holidays experience higher traffic, typically Fridays after 2pm and Saturdays between 10am and 4pm. Offpeak weekends and midweek stays should expect shorter traffic times Cabins located further north of Hochatown are an additional 15 to 30 minutes from the Hochatown area. This additional distance should not be impacted by traffic. The park and lake itself are free to enter, there is however a fee to park. During peak periods you should plan on a wait at most restaurants. This Property is dog Friendly - Please see the following for restrictions/ guidelines/ fees. \* 2 dogs maximum \* weight limit of 80 lbs for a single dog or Check in time is 4PM or later. Check out time is 11AM. Additional fee of $100 will apply to late check-outs unless otherwise approved. All cabins are Non-smoking. RVs, Campers, and Tents are not allowed to be used on cabin property, overcrowding fees will apply. ATV and similar vehicles are not allowed to be ridden on the cabin property. The use of Fireworks and/ or Guns is prohibited on cabin property. Hot tub covers are to remain in place when not in use. Do not stand, sit, dance, or otherwise use the cover for anything other than its intended purpose. Pets are welcome at Kiamichi Cabins on a Cabin by Cabin Basis with the following restrictions: Maximum of two (2) dogs. If bringing a single dog, the weight limit is 80lbs. If bringing 2 dogs, the weight limit per dog is 40lbs. No dogs are to be left unattended. All dogs must be kenneled if left at cabin. Dogs are not allowed on the beds or on the furniture. An additional fee of $20 per night will apply - regardless of how small or cute your dog is. Perfect little cabin in the woods. The balcony overlooking the river was amazing. Hot tub was perfect for looking up at the stars. Not far from all the excitement in Hotchatown and Broken Bow and you still get the seclusion of being a bit off all that for a quiet, beautiful stay. We will definitely come back and stay at this cabin come Spring. We had a great time!! Bring your ATV or off rode vehicle for a great ride in the Quachita National Forest!!! Great time!!! Good stay!!! Washer and dryer and great view of the river below!! A fine friend named Fred will stop by and say hi every morning and evening, bring dog treats for him!!! It had everything we needed for cooking. It was very relaxing to hear the bubbling river that ran behind the cabin. It was not easy to see but there was a trail that had a view of the river. Two of our favorite things were the hot tub and the campfire at night. ##### Angela H. The first night was terrifying as out task was literally killing bugs and avoiding cobwebs. We had to pull the bed away from the wall to sleep as we found a huge spider behind there. We barely slept. I did inform the host that night. The next morning a bug was in the shower with me! While we were out for the day we made a plan to get some bug spray and try to enjoy the nice cozy cabin. The host responded saying the cleaning crew reported bugs and cobwebs but pest control wasn't coming until next week. If you know you have someone staying and spent there money, out of respect and decency, pest control should've already come out. The cabin was a nice cabin overall, it just seemed bug infested. We sprayed the whole cabin upon returning the second day and had a better night's sleep. ##### Tyffanie D. The pictures, though beautiful, 100% do not do this paradise justice! The rolling hills, sounds of the river below, and whispering pines make for an absolutely sublime escape from everyday life. It is truly the perfect property and if i could live there full time I would not hesitate one second! The cabin is so cozy and perfectly appointed. To top off everything, we were welcomed every morning by Fred, the big white dog. Oh boy, was he a sweetheart and truly difficult to say goodbye to. God willing, we will certainly return to this Heavenly place ##### Jared B. Didn’t know who he belong to. His name was Frank and the number on the collar was out of service. He seemed to know the area very well but stayed by us and the neighbors that were staying there. He had a brand new collar on so we assumed he belonged to someone nearby hopefully. He definitely made the experience better for us, so if you go here please don’t be scared of him if you see him and don’t hurt him cause we would’ve taken him in a heart beat if we knew for sure he wasn’t anyone’s there due to how amazing he was. ##### Kevin A. The outdoor spaces are wonderful with great views of nature and the creek from the deck and nearby trail, and the relaxation factor was high with the hot tub and firepit. The cabin was well-stocked and I appreciated the solid wifi connection and modern amenities. This place is quite a ways outside of the radius of Hochatown and Broken Bow, but the extra half hour away from the center of town is well worth it ##### Jeff B.
