"This is a hard review to write - because the people working here are so kind, helpful, friendly, and wonderful. That said - our stay felt like a horror movie setup. First - the parking isn’t open so you have to park in a cramped garage across the street at a discount, but the garage never gave us a ticket as the gate was stuck open when we arrived. Only one small elevator “worked” but even still, the floors it took you to didn’t match the buttons - and two of the floors seemed like they shouldn’t be open to the public (a dark basement and a floor that seemed to be a work space?). Then of our three rooms only one had an operating thermostat as it’s locked with a code that the staff didn’t have available. It is walkable though and has lovely staff. I’m sure it will be great once renovations are complete. "

"Just back from a 3 day stay at Murphy's Hotel. The Hotel its self is small and spread over two floors. We stayed in room 16 on the first floor. The room was spotless and large with a double and a single bed. The bathroom was lovely with a great shower and toiletries supplied. However the really outstanding part of our stay was the food. We had breakfast and dinner there each night. The breakfast was especially nice and was prepared fresh and served to the table. The dinner menu was the same each evening, but had ample choice. Every meal we had was lovely and again served fresh to the table. Another great feature of the hotel is the staff. All were very helpful and attentive, We would highly recommend this hotel and we will stay again. "

"Great location and view at breakfast. Breakfast was brilliant, good variety, prompt service and even vegetarian sausages which is a big plus and came out super quick! Dinner ends early ish so if you get in late you need to order and not many local options however Would recommend the actual hotel!"

"Patrick is a fantastic host. he was so accommodating. He even facilitated our early check-in as well. Clear instructions were provided to the home, use of utilities, the management of the bins and everything else. The house was in a mint condition. Netflix, Toys, cable TV were all available for kids' entertainment as well. Wifi with good quality available. The house is much better in reality compared to the images on the website. Fantastic secluded place, very peaceful overall. Patrcik was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Book this place and enjoy your time with friends and family."
