Staff was very friendly. We got stuck 1 extra night at the hotel because of a snow storm, and they were able to accommodate us and our dog with no problems. Hotel is a little far from restaurants but they do have a small store with frozen foods you can microwave ( when stuck in hotel because of weather ...

Carter house : 100 year old house with a remodeled castle inspired feel.
We all loved the uniqueness of the home. It was extremely clean with old time charm. Historical furnishings were combined with modern luxuries. We’d stay here again for sure!!
