Dining options in Gliwice are great and near by. Parking in this area is problem in this area in general. The hotel has a great solution in a near by parking lot that cooperates with the hotel - a great solution.

The front office staffs were generally friendly during my stay and was very accommodating to change our room when we found the original room that we booked was not what we wanted. Overall a good place for a short stay.

Beautiful old world hotel
The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The floorboards squeaked everywhere we stepped. The shower drain was clogged so we had to be very fast. One of the mornings the elevator wasn’t working so we had to use the stairs from the fifth floor. The clerk who greeted us on our arrival was very friendly and super helpful. The rest of the staff we interacted with were onery and terse. Our room was never cleaned while we were out. Overall we enjoyed restful sleep. We would recommend this hotel and use it again.

No problem, recommended
Great, we were in town for a 2 night event at Gliwice Arena. The town has enough to keep you occupied for a couple of days… highly recommend the Radio tower museum & Palmiarnia. Local restaurants punching above their weight in terms of quality & price. Momo restaurant in the square our favourite ! The hotel itself is very central, quiet with plenty of street parking available if required. Uber / Taxi’s easy to find any time we found day or night. Would not hesitate to rebook.

Good hotel in a good location
Good hotel, my only issue was no wifi would work during my stay. The hotel did try to sort this whilst I was there on my business trip but we still couldn't get it to work. It was only a short trip so it was not too much of an issue. Everything else was very good.

I booked for two nights and wanted to stay only one night. Though expedia says payment willbe done only on check in. They payment was already done before i reached the hotel and no refund was done. Its a very nasty experience I had.

Refurbished standard rooms, but some niggles still
Standard rooms have been re-furbished / improved in the last year or so, and this is appreciated, however there are still some niggles. 1. Some of the single rooms are small, and although the beds have improved, there is limited space in some. 2. The bathrooms have been upgraded with a more modern feel, however the lack of thermostatic valves on the shower means it's difficult to get a consistent / comfortable water temperature. The superior rooms have these valves and rolling these out to all rooms would be appreciated.

Will be the hotel I pick every time I visit
This was my second stay here as I was satisfied with the first night. Gliwice didn’t have many hotels to offer and this seams the most affordable and comfortable options. I also had breakfast this time although I found that a bit pricy and thought it could be cheaper out in town.

Lovely clean hotel
Lovely clean hotel in a very old building. Staff very helpful and spoke English. Some renovations going on but didn’t effect our stay. Looking forward to seeing it complete next year

I have stayed in this hotel quite a lot over the past 3 years. There has been a lot of work done upgrading the rooms which is great. Though I think removing the bar from downstairs was a mistake. Trying to squeeze it in to the same room where they serve breakfast / dinner just does not work for me. Therefore there is nowhere to go and have a couple of drinks in the evening, which I think is a shame. I think I may seek alternative accommodation for my next trip.

Cosy hotel with wonderful staff
What may be lacking in decor, it's more than made up for in service and friendliness of staff. It's bit stretched 4 stars but there have been ongoing improvements and refurb works so upgrade is imminent.

An excellent hotel. The staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were a good size and clean. The food was of a high standard and not expensive. It is in an area where there are a number of shops and restaurants. Although the hotel is on a main road it was very quiet in the rooms. We were there to take part in a fencing tournament and will certainly stay there again if we attend next year.

Old school class - and cosy, too.
Compared to the steel and glass of the modern business hotel, this place is a refreshing and highly recommended change. It's what you might see if you looked up the definition of hotel - the kind that, in the UK, is a bit dilapidated and rough around the edges, but that in Poland is beautifully looked after and staffed with friendly and welcoming people. Large rooms, unlike anything I could imagine getting in London (unless I paid many many times the amount), well-stocked and superb value mini-bar, and all bang in the centre of what is one of Poland's many quaint and undiscovered towns.

Good option in Gliwice
Located near the city center. Good breakfast, nice staff and big rooms. The only negative thing is that they are pretty hard with late check out- wouldn't allow even one minute later than 12:00. All in all good hotel.

All rooms have a terrible smell via plumbing
Good location and have stayed here many times. The rooms have a terrible smell and it comes from the plumbing/drain system and even the wash basin and showers. The carpets in the rooms are not very clean. The 4th floor business rooms are better but the smell is still a factor. We moved to Qubus Hotel and that is a first class experience at similar prices. No contest.

I am sorry for incovenience caused by a bad smell from the drains. The system has been checked and cleared and the reason has been eliminated. Convenient location
After two nights in a tiny room, I was upgraded to the junior apartment. The apartment was spacious with a separate bedroom, living and office areas. It was located in the back of the building with windows facing a dark and small courtyard. There was an espresso machine in the room and I was supplied w other 2 bottles of water (flat and gas). Mini fridge was well stocked. Staff was very attentive and helpfull. The restaurant served only breakfast but the food service was available in the lobby bar area. Good selection, fresh and tasty dishes.

Pleasant stay
Hotel has great location - close to both train station and town hall. I find the bed pillows a bit uncomfortable so everyday I woke up with pain. Lady at the reception made my mum wait and hour for as she wouldn't call the room saying it's the privacy policy. When I found out she tired to tell me she rang me 4 times, but both me and my partner never hear a thing and I check the room phone and there was outing wrong with it.

However the receptionist did not refused to call the room and tried a few times as you have kindly mentioned.
