It was an amazing trip and am really excited to do some editing and sharing! see you all soon! Emerald lake is a beautiful alpine lake hidden away behind Crested Butte. A few miles down a dirt road only a jeep has any right going down that we blazed in a small Subaru :D. These red plants were a few hundred feet up the side of a hill looking over the lake.
