This place is a hidden gem! We were surprised at how comfy and quiet it was. It put us exactly where we wanted to be in Sitka do hike, explore and still be close to shopping in town. The hosts did a fantastic job of making sure everything was perfect for us. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the living room was beyond spectacular. We could see lots of otters playing in the water from the table by the window. We spent quite a bit of time using the provided binoculars to watch boats coming in and out of the bay, watching for other sea critters and viewing the bald eagles flying by. What an amazing experience we had. If we ever have the chance to visit Sitka again, we will definitely stay here again. Really loved our 6 night stay in Sitka at Pam and Mike’s guest quarters. Perfect size, immaculate, relaxing and the views spectacular. Convenient to town (we rented a car) but able to get far enough away for a restful vacation while visiting our daughter.
