This absolute gem of an apartment enjoys a wonderful position overlooking the beach in the beautiful and highly popular San Sebastian area of Sitges. The sunny balcony has fantastic sea views and is the ideal place to relax with a drink while watching the hustle and bustle of the seafront promenade below. There are numerous restaurants, cafes and beach bars around the apartment and it’s a pleasant 2-minute stroll to the heart of the Sitges town. If you are looking for a comfortable apartment with stunning sea view and with the beach and other amenities right outside your door then Apartment Alegria (happy in English) is the perfect choice for your holiday. ACCOMMODATION The apartment entrance is located on street level. There is a flight of steps leading to the front door of the apartment and as you enter there are a few steps up from the hallway into to the beautiful, light and airy living room. There are mirrors along one wall designed to reflect sunlight and enhance the images of the beach and sea. There are two new comfortable sofas, with a coffee table just in front of the sliding glass doors that open out to the delightful balcony, which is ideal for al-fresco dining while enjoying the lovely views of the beach and watching life go by below you. There is also a dining table that can seat 4 guests and a TV. Although the living room enjoys cooling sea breezes through the balcony doors, a ceiling fan is also provided for your comfort. There is also an air conditioning unit in the hallway that cools the whole apartment. The separate double bedroom located to the back is stylishly furnished with a comfortable double bed, atmospheric lighting and a ceiling fan for comfort. The kitchen area is equipped with a 2-ring hob, microwave oven, refrigerator and coffee maker. Crockery and pots and pans are all provided. The fully tiled bathroom has a shower, WC and hand basin. A washing machine is also available for guest use. Good to know – The apartment is on the seafront and so there may be some noise from the pedestrianised street below at times. However, the bedroom is located at the back of the apartment and so is generally quiet. – The beach and all amenities are right on the doorstep. – The train station is a 5-minute walk. – There are ceiling fans in all rooms and a single air-conditioning unit to keep the apartment cool. – There is no private parking but paid parking options are available in the area. – Unfortunately, Apartment Alegria is not suitable for wheelchair users. Our office in Sitges is on hand, should you need us, during your stay. These prices do not include tourist tax of 1,00 € / person / day. Nice tiny apartment which is directly located at the beach. Lots of restaurants and bars are close by and it's just a view minutes walk to the historic center of Sitges. You can easily spend several days here without a car as you can take the train to visit Barcelona or small tiny cities along the coast. Or just sit on the balcony and enjoy the awesome oceanview and listen to the sound of the ocean. We stayed the 2nd time at the apartment and really enjoyed everything, except one thing. Drukke boulevards, een levendig winkelcentrum, fijne restaurants & bars & clubs. Wij wilden even uitblazen van Barcelona en kozen voor het ‘iets minder drukke’ deel. De ontvangst van de jonge dame van Sitges Hills Villa’s was heel vriendelijk en attent met fijne tips! Het appartement ligt op een geweldige lokatie als je van levendigheid houdt, recht aan een van de boulevards. Houd wel rekening met je buren, want er wonen locals om je heen! Onder het appartement (1e etage) liggen drie restaurants die tot ‘s avonds laat open zijn, maar voor ons geen bezwaar waren. Op je balkon zit je ‘eersterangs’ om lekker mensen te kijken. Als je echt rust zoekt, is dit geen geschikte lokatie. Het appartement was heel verzorgd, leuk ingericht en had ook nog voldoende voorraad van bijv koffie thee suiker etc. Het flesje cava, 2 blikjes bier en een fles vruchtensap die we in de koelkast vonden, waren een heel attent gebaar! ##### Anke B. Apartment is right above a number of popular restaurants and the main drag that people stroll along at night so very noisy if the windows are open. Also non-stop truck delivery action in the morning. Not a problem is doors are closed and you are inside but you will hear it all if you sit on the veranda. Apartment was clean and had most of the basic cooking utensils. Beware that the management company only gives one set of bath towels, which makes it tricky if you are staying for more than a few days and want to clean and dry them in time for use that day. Also no other amenities are included - there was one roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels for a one week stay. So be prepared to bring/buy all of the basics that you will need for apartment living. We had some issues with bad smells and the management company addressed them immediately, which was great. We loved this place! We were so sad to leave. The apartment's location is absolutely remarkable. By saying that, I don't mean to imply that the unit was lacking because it was tremendous. Although we did no cooking at all during our 4 nights there, the kitchen is adequately stocked with equipment. It is comfortable and the views are sensational. Time spent on the balcony overlooking the Bay can't be beaten. A lovely short break - we enjoyed ourselves and were very comfortable. This was a wonderful unit with the most amazing view from the balcony and from the living room. The unit is well equipped and very comfortable. Sitges is a beautiful place to spend time. The restaurants just below do not interfere with the enjoyment of the property, in fact, it's great to only have to go a few steps to enjoy the wonderful food choices.
