This place also includes dishes (including silverware) and cookware to make breakfast or dinner for yourself during your stay. Walk right past the kitchen, there sits a spacious dining table by windows looking out over trees - perfect for eating while taking in nature! Past the dining area is our bright bedroom space configured with a large King bed. On the other side of this space, there you'll find the living area with a "full" size sleeper sofa & flat screen TV tucked away in one corner; what comes next? Well just beyond it all is our full-size bathroom just waiting for its next guest. This unique and tranquil home in the heart of Door County is designed especially for couples, or perhaps a couple with 1-2 young children. With its unique design, this studio provides an open space living and dining area and a fully-equipped kitchen perfect for your intimate relaxation. Please note that our vacation rental is located above a live bakery, which may result in some delicious aromas wafting into the space. We have provided an air purifier to help with any lingering bakery smells, as well as a white noise machine to mitigate any early morning noise. There is a $75 fee per dog. If you're bringing more than one, please let us know in advance. The apartment was clean, well outfitted, and stylish. Arriving after dark was a challenge for us as the stairs to the apartment are in the back of the building. We always appreciate that when traveling.We brought our small dog and he did well on our walks around the property and down roads nearby.The bakery below was visited daily by us and the food delicious.My husband ate the same bagel everyday and I bought a large bag of granola there that was enjoyed daily and brought home to enjoy.The owner was responsive to questions when asked.This place is also in close driving range to so many beautiful parks (we are hikers and bikers), restaurants, and seasonal attractions.We are thankful for our stay here. ##### Mary K. If we wanted we had everything needed to cook our meals in the small but fully furnished kitchen, plus a washer and dryer if needed. It was spacious, updated and had the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. It is only minutes away from town . On the ground level is a bakery that has the most amazing bagels I have ever had, including those in NYC. The host was very prompt in responding to any questions we had. Definitely will stay here next time we return to Door County. Can't go wrong with this rental. ##### Ann D. We stayed just one night but the location was very close to Sister Bay which we love. Very clean and communication with the host was fast and easy. It is above a bakery and you can smell the aromas in the early morning but it was not bad. It smelled quite good and we did decide to wait to leave until the bakery opened so we could give it a try. The location is wonderful - quick drive to Sister Bay, quick drive to Ephraim. You truly have everything you need in this studio. Cute little kitchen, nice little living room space, quaint little dining room area, comfortable king size bed (the pillows were like marshmallows - so cozy!), and a generous sized bathroom/shower. This is a good sized studio - our family of four + our pup had plenty of space to stretch our legs. It's really a great spot! They put a lot of thought into creating this space - it's nicely furnished, well-kept, and clean. The host, Tom, is wonderful and very responsive! From the start, communication with Tom was a breeze. He was responsive, helpful, and made sure we settled in well on arrival and everything was going smoothly during our vacation. The studio is lovely, very spacious with plenty of room for 4 of us. The location is ideal for getting just about everywhere in northern Door County. We were only minutes to Ephraim, Sister Bay and Fish Creek, but also explored Ellison Bay and Egg Harbor easily. We stayed over a weekend so the bakery below was open and wow, what a delightful and absolutely delicious spot. Best bagels in the world, so if it's open, make sure you stop in for breakfast or lunch. I've been coming to Door County since I was a child and this gem was a wonderful find.
