We liked both of our rooms which were on the 12th floor with spectacular views over Singapore and Fort Canning Park. The location made it simple to get to anywhere in Singapore either by MRT or bus. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful from the front desk right through to the restaurant. There is some mould in the bathrooms as mentioned in other reviews but it is hardly a major problem and I have seen far worse in much more expensive hotels. My only negative is the fact that there are a lot of school groups staying here which can make it noisy but this didn’t bother us in the room at all. Il lui a été indiqué que le réfrigérateur ne fonctionnait pas et celui-ci nous a mentionné qu'il revenait mais il est jamais revenu !!!! The bathroom toilet seemed to take awhile to flush. The hotel room and bathroom seemed alittle dated compared to more modern hotels. There is a nice large pool but didn't have time to try it out. Its a very good and affordable hotel near the museums and bugis street market and plenty of restaurants. It is close to the MTR and large shopping mall.
