This is the first hotel room I have stayed in where there were cockroaches, I had killed 7 in total during the 3 nights here. The bathroom water also had a funny smell, especially when using the hot shower. Overall the hotel seemed dated too. For AU$160/night it felt not up to standard. Oxford has a great location in the city beside Bugis and 2 minutes walk from the nearest MRT station. The room was basic and clean and the hotel fit for a weekend or business stopover where simply a bed will do.
