Well located and pleasantly appointed hotel in the vibrant Bencoolen neighbourhood. Like most of Singapore, it simply works well, in a quietly impressive and enjoyable way. Highly recommended.

The staff was very helpful and always helped us book a taxi when we needed it. They were even able to book a large taxi to accommodate all our luggage when we checked out and were headed to the airport. We also had a super late check-in when we first arrived (around 0200) and had no issues checking in. Everything went smoothly. A 24-hr 7-eleven was literally on your right-hand side when exiting the hotel from the main entrance. And within walking distance was a food court with many options. Not too far from the food court was the Rocher station. Great location and experience overall.

Location was convenient and close to public transportation options (bus stops right in front of entrance as well as walkable to the MRT station). Plenty of things to see and explore nearby. However, the bathroom fan never managed to get rid of the dampness after taking a shower and the elevator is extremely slow, to arrive and for the doors to open, and seems like it needs some maintenance.

I really liked the location of this hotel. It is generally clean and the restaurant on site is great. Location is excellent, so are ataff. However, we noticed the the bathroom reeked of cigarette smoke smell. I complained to the front desk and we were immediately given a different room on another floor, but same side of the building. The cigarette smoke smell in the bathroom was still there, but not as bad as the first one. My guess is it has probably gotten into the central air conditioning system and so was just circulating all over. I can't fault the hotel for other guests' behaviour, if they still choose to smoke in a non smoking room, but I hope staff would physically check each room before they hand in the keys. Cigarette smoke smell can seriously affect others who have medical issues as was our case.

The room I was given had a leakage from the ceiling After returning when I stepped into the room I nearly fell because there was a pool of water on the floor and as i haven’t switched on the lights didn’t notice the pool of water…. Luckily my friend who was with me caught hold of my hand…..very unhappy as I have never encountered such incident…. They changed the room to a higher floor and allowed me access to the mini bar And I have to asked for a f&b voucher

It is a functional hotel, everything you need in the room, not a lot of space in the room but it is Singapore! There's a 7/11 nextdoor at street level. Easy access to Bugis Street markets, Little India, Kampung Glam, Bencoolen MRT & Queen St bus station

This property met our needs for our time there. Disappointed I booked a non refundable room but I did not know the airlines flight was delayed 1 full day costing us to loose the money. They passed the buck to Expedia and Expedia passed it back to them. So I loose. Will never book a non refundable room again. Airlines of today suck!

Love the hotel ambience,staff were informative,there’s umbrella for use during rainy days(can ask the front desk)..the place has mini fridge,iron,hair dryer & mini safe..weakness-no bidet at the toilet area and no information on areas of interest around the hotel area(walkable distance)/simple brochure/info.
