Our standard room was quite small but clean and the bed was comfortable. Different TV channels are available in the room and there is also a WiFi access, but this one was rather slow. It is enough to check your mails for example. There is no table or desk in the room so it's not convenient to work. Concerning the noise, perhaps it depends on the room and the floor but it was very noisy on the morning, you always hear when people are discussing in the corridor. The 81 Osaka hotel is not too far from the Outram Park MRT station (less than 10 mn walk) so you can go to the city centre in less than half an hour. However, there is no restaurant in the hotel so no breakfast is available in the morning, you need to go outside if you want to eat something.
