The back of the door and carpet is so dirty that I can see the dirt from the corner of the room. Aircon is so dusty and the wall all is not furnished well

Disappointing stay!
Pros: Room was decent size enough for 1 pax. Basic necessities were provided. Cleanliness done by the housekeeping team on a daily basis was meeting expectation. Cons: First entry into the room with musky smell originating from the toilet. The small ventilation fan and wet soaked bath curtains were the reason. Since this is a single bed, the layout of this type in this hotel are just beside the lifts. You’ll hear the working mechanism sound of the lifts going up and down until the late night and beyond. The layout and design of this is simply not reasonable and purely for the sake of maximising the room capacity for profit. Any request for a room change will be an upgrade and a small fee for each night will be imposed. Ridiculous. The aircon is wacky. When you’re set the speed and temperature, it gets cold but after a long time, it will just operate in economical mode or power saver mode making the room stuffy and warm again. Readjustment again seems to do the trick but it’s annoying.

Hotel staff, especially Peter and David on a night were lovely and really helpful, helped move us rooms and helped find a missing item we had left. Overall, it was ok for a quick trip to Singapore as the place Is so expensive anyway - its a quick walk to the city mall and a quick walk to the train station. However, we found that the rooms were outdated, single glazing glass meant you could hear everything from birds to builders at 5am. Unfortunately we left the room each morning covered in bug bites and the bed and pillows were the most uncomfortable things I’ve ever slept on. Also other hotel goers were incredibly rude and would shout outside their rooms from am to 12am daily - obviously the hotel and staff are not at fault. However, it is a basic, budget hotel and it is in a convenient location, for a quick one or two night stay it is ok.

Too loud. People in other rooms were keep slamming the doors and constantly talking to each other loudly until 2 am in the morning. Finally I had to call the receptionist to tell them to be quit.

Quality and Affordable!
It was my first time staying at the Aqueen Lavender and it was the best place I could possibly have stayed in for my budget. As a solo traveler, the room was appropriately sized and I stayed in full comfort. Housekeeping service was excellent! One of the best aspects was the location: less than 5 minute walking distance to Bendemeer MRT station (Downtown Line), Lavender MRT, and various bus stations, all of which connected me quite quickly to the tourist attraction spots and the CBD area. This hotel is as centrally located as you can get! Very easy for first-time visitors to Singapore who want to stay closer to central. All the staff members were very friendly and assisted me as best possible, whether it was directions, special needs, etc. Maximum score for me! Thank you, Aqueen Lavender!

I can't expect too much out of a reasonable price. The interiors were outdated and some corners of the room that may not be always apparent to the housekeeping were taken for granted (in short it was a little dirty but not completely). Nevertheless, it was alright for a one night stay.

Budget stay for business travel.
This is a good hotel for value of money. I traveled for business purposes and found the room to be very small. When I upgraded to the King bed room the space was not an issue. Internet speed is very good. Manage your breakfast time appropriately. Breakfast choice is limited but very well prepared. Service is excellent. The best part is the area based restaurants and hawker stalls. All great quality food.

bed was really bed, they got the hardest bed ever and our backs were left painful after 4 nights here. housekeeping staff were really rude, demanding us to show them our card key once we entered the lift, and then they gossip loudly in the lift about their colleagues.

Extremely basic hotel in a great location
Standard single rooms located by elevator shaft which means constant and unbearable noise. Moved from 501 to 513 by the manager who was superb but not without a huge meltdown by myself prior. The hotel is very run down. Upside is that the area is superb, easy walking distance to two MRT stations. Local pool, upcoming quirky bars and cafes selling fantastic food (CCSH and Druggists for example) near to supermarket and wet market. Lots of local food areas too.

I book queen size single bed, they use 2 single bed for it, without and cover in top, so it doesn’t may sense ask client to sleep over it, it requires extra pillows for it, they say hotel doesn’t provide more than3 pillows for each client in any circumstances. For check in, they need Singapore id instead of passport (is it makes sense for a hotel to ask such request!) Definitely will not stay in this hotel anymore

Nice hotel. Enjoyed the stay. Staff were very courteous. VERY close to MRT station. Even though it may not seem like, it's close to several other places within walking distance once your sense of direction gets adapted.

5 nights stay at Aqueen
Location was great and the room is not overly small. It didn't bother us, but the hotel is right next to a funeral Home. Only noticed it at night when the Singapore casket sign lights up on the building. A small food court down 3 mins walk away and the famous dimsum place is about a 10 min walk away.

Good location, poor condition old rooms.
Noisy hotel with many tourists making a lot of noise. Hotel staff did nothing to manage the rowdy tourists. Room overall was pretty run down and needs some facelifting.

The room was ok, clean. But not so spacious, even for a solo traveler. I only had 7 channels on TV as well. But the staff was amazing, very friendly and met all my needs. Would stay here again.
