"The staff was very nice especially the front desk people as well as the bartenders etc. My only issue is we stayed 6 days and 5 nights and not once did they come in and clean our room even after i requested service. They did provide fresh towels everyday . But would not sweep clean mop or change bed linen our entire stay. That was very frustrating."

"We had wonderful stay at Simpson Bay. Everyone was friendly, the resort is clean, there are many dining options, night life, and activities on the resort, and a short walking distance. They have a shuttle service that will take you a bit farther, if you need. "

"Can’t wait to come visit and stay here again! This hotel is a hidden gem - it’s a quaint little hotel with just a handful on rooms right on the beach! There are beach chairs & umbrellas available as well and you can swim right in front of the hotel! I stayed in the beach suite when I first got there I was a little unsure how secure the room was since this particular room is ground level right on the sand but I didn’t have any issues while I was there & thoroughly enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the waves on the beach.They also have several small shaded patio areas with tables and an outdoor grill plus small kitchenettes in the rooms which is great if u are looking to just unwind and not necessarily dine out at restaurants. If you don’t want to make/bring your own food you can easily walk down the beach (less than 5 min walk) to the Mary boon beach bar/restaurant for food and great cocktails (the whole menu is very affordable too). Alternately you can walk a few blocks into town and there is a little bakery right there as well as a few bars - walk a bit further and you can get to even more restaurants. If u are staying for awhile I would Reccomended renting a car just to explore the other great beaches on st Maarten-however it’s not necessary since you have everything u need within walking distance. The owner mike & his wife are very friendly & helpful- plus they live right there on the property which is perfect in case you need anything! Very happy with my stay!"

"Nice place. Decent for one night. There was a bird that chirped non stop out side all night long which made it hard to sleep and you can hear all the noise from the streets very easily. However the staff are friendly and place is clean. Lovely note left by the owners welcoming us into the suites too. Nice touch. Great place on a budget. "

"Hôtel bien entretenue. La cuisinette est complète avec la vaisselle nécessaire pour se faire de bons repas. Chambre très spacieuse. Accès facile à la plage. Bonne sélection de palapas sur la plage. Pas nécessaire de réserver des chaises longues à la plage ou à la piscine, il y en avait toujours de disponibles. Très belle vue sur la mer à partir de notre balcon. La navette est pratique pour revenir des épiceries, car très montagneux. Les chambres en montagne ne sont pas idéal pour personnes à mobilité réduite."
