Sint Maarten DIRECT BEACHFRONT WITH POOL! Rates start at 250/nt!! Baywatch at Beacon Hill is a beachfront villa comprised of two totally separate units. The upper level unit is usually occupied by me (the owner) with no children or pets. Your privacy and tranquility is assured as your unit has it's own private driveway and entrance. You will not be sharing any part of the property or amenities with anyone. The entire lower level unit including the private pool, entire pool deck, patio, garden and driveway is yours for your stay. I do not accept rentals for loud parties of events. As you search for your perfect vacation accommodations, please take note that I include amenities like FREE long distance phone service to the US and Canada, FREE WIFI, private parking, full size washer and dryer, all towels and linens, all kitchen supplies, air-conditioning in ALL rooms and lots more. See below. I have over 28 years of hospitality industry experience and my objective is to make you feel like you are being provided quality accommodations and service at a very reasonable rate. The property is always maintained and in tip top shape. You will feel like you are in paradise and I pride myself in knowing my guests are very happy with Baywatch. I invite you to read some of the reviews to get an idea of what the experience of my previous guests have been. As an owner who lives on the property, I am readily available and at your service in case you need anything. I feel this is a big advantage for guests. Many properties have owners or managers who are thousands of miles away and cannot assist in case of an important need. Because of how the property is set up with totally separate driveways and entrances, guests feel as if they have the entire property to themselves. Each year and more often as needed, I evaluate the condition of everything in the unit from towels, sheets and bedding to furniture, major appliances, kitchen supplies and other details to make sure guests feel like they are staying in quality accommodation. Located on a Cul de Sac in the quiet, residential area of Beacon Hill Point, the unit is directly on the beach at Bergeaux Bay. A six minute walk to mile long Simpson Bay Beach and a 12 minute walk to Maho Beach where you will find a multitude of beach bars, restaurants, piano bars, casino, shopping, Las Vegas style entertainment, etc... Mullet Bay , Cupecoy and the French Side beaches are a 3 to 10 minute drive with no traffic to deal with in this area. Baywatch is directly on the beach at Bergeaux Bay. There is often a sandy beach directly in front of the house but on occasion, usually when we have big surf, the sand moves a little and exposes some rocky areas. The beach is great for looking for shells and wave/ocean polished stones. The beach side of the house is on the non-windy side so usually the waters are pretty calm. The house is located on a peninsula and therefore directly across the street are the cliffs that face east and that is where the wind comes from. From these cliffs, there are fantastic views of Simpson Bay Beach, the mountains and over to St Barth's. If you wake up early enough, you will see the sunrise from there as well. The neighborhood is peaceful, quiet and very safe. Beacon Hill Point is a gated community with manned security guards on duty from 6 PM to 6 AM. The rental unit: This 1,200 square foot unit contains 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. In the kitchen all small and large appliances are included. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area with French doors leading to the 1,000 sq. foot terrace directly overlooking the Caribbean Sea and THE POOL. The main living room area containing sofa, love seat, side tables, coffee table, air conditioning, flat screen TV, DVD player also has French doors leading to the terrace. Perfect Caribbean views from both the dining and living room area. A second living area adjacent to the living room is great for reading or just relaxing. Rates are based on the number of guests staying. Base rate is for Double Occupancy. Additional guest rate is $25 PP, per night. Govt Tax is 5%. The unit can be rented for two to six guests. This allows for renters to pay for only the number of guests staying and sleeping space needed, while still enjoying all that the home offers. You will have all of the modern conveniences and yet still feel like you are in the Caribbean. All bedrooms have ceiling fans & a/c. Two bedrooms have queen beds with comfy linens. The third bedroom has two Twin (single) beds instead of a Queen size. All bedding is laundered prior to guest arrival to insure cleanliness. You will have your own private driveway, separate access to the garden & yard area, the pool and to the stairway to the beach. Webber gas BBQ grill, outside shower, full size washer and dryer, FREE long distance phone service to and from the US and Canada, FREE high speed WIFI and American TV are some of the amenities offered at Baywatch. This is a great unit in a great location offered at a fantastic rate. Peaceful and quiet, but yet so close to many attractions and no traffic. He is super friendly and even a talented entertainer. His home is a bit off the beaten path so a rental car is a MUST in order to explore the island. A few things to note is that if a super cool A/C is what you are after this place might not be for you. The living area is quite large and the AC just doesn't cover it well and not all AC units can run concurrently. The internet on the island isn't great and if that's of great importance to you again this place may not be for you. One thing to note is the beach by the pool can't really be used. It has large rocks to enter and is quite dangerous so going to a beach will be required. The apartment overall is good, comfy beds and basic necessities are provided. The best part is the amazing deck with the large patio and cooling pool. The inside may need a renovation soon due to some of the items rusting and peeling due to the salty sea air. That could be due to the need to shut off the AC when not home etc. I will always provide an honest review to ensure both parties know exactly what is expected or experienced. Overall the place is good and depending on your needs it can be the best true island experience if this is what you are looking for. The best thing is the pool area looking right out to the ocean. A covered patio and cute octagonal pool . There is also beach access below. So much space we especially loved the back porch, which is where we spent every morning having coffee and every evening when we got back from our beach days and dinners. We were surprised that the pool was so nice and cool. We expected it to be really hot, but it wasn’t at all- so refreshing. We felt safe- a security guard was right outside the property. All the beach chairs, an umbrella, lots of Floaties for the pool, a cooler, lots of beach towels - all provided in addition to so many extras that you don’t expect like garbage bags, laundry detergent, dish soap, hand soaps, and even coffee was there for us! Bob was upstairs, but never intrusive and actually was a comfort to know he was close if we needed him. I loved the small beach located down the steps of the property- I loved walking up and down the surf, looking for sea glass and little bits of shells while inspecting all the little marine life on the beach. It was also fun to watch planes from the porch being located so close to Maho and the airport. Plane noise was never an issue. Air conditioner nice and cool, and the washer and dryer were handy. If we come to St Martin with my family, it would be the perfect place to stay again. It’s was a great place to relax and recharge. The place is just as described. The view is amazing. It’s awesome to have your own pool as well as floats. The location offers easy accessibility to the beaches, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and more in Maho, Lowlands, and Simpson Bay. The home is comfortable and spacious enough for 6 people. The outdoor space is wonderful offering both sun and shade plus a private pool and a wonderful ocean view. The view is amazing both day and night. The amenities Bob offers such as pool and beach accessories are added extras to help complete a vacation. Bob is a fantastic host and was always available if we had any questions. This property is very clean and so comfortable! Bob thinks of everything, from outdoor necessities at the private pool, which we loved, to small details like a nightlight in the bathroom. We had everything we needed, and for food shopping, Maho Market is so conveniently close. Having this view from Baywatch is awesome, overlooking the water and with great sunset views. Air conditioning in the property, but we only used the one in the bedroom at night. It's such a joy to open the 2 double patio doors and the windows and have refreshing breezes through the house. All furnishings are very clean and comfortable. We loved this house and would definitely return again. ##### Angeline B. The place was fantastic. The deck with the private pool overlooking the ocean was the winner here. A short 5-10 minute walk to Maho. The place reminded me of a cottage. Has a nice rustic feel to it. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean.kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of drinking glasses. Beds were comfortable. Bin was a gracious host who met us and checked us in. He was there if we had any questions but was not intrusive. He leaves you alone unless you need him. I would stay again with Bob next time I visit the island. ##### Paolo M. It was impeccably clean, convenient for driving to restaurants and beaches. My biggest compliment is that everything that you need is there. I hate buying trash bags, paper towels etc for a few days stay. It's all in the house already. Even coffee filters for the drip coffee pot were there. So convenient. I am a sheet snob and the sheets were incredibly soft. All of the linens and furniture were very nice. The only sightly negative I would say is that the WIFi was spotty at times. If I ever go back to St Maarten, I will stay here again. The host was also great. ##### stephanie t. It was perfect. The property had a cancellation and opened up right when we wanted to visit. The pictures are very accurate. The three bedrooms are on the small side, but it was nice to have a bedroom and bath for each of our boys. The kitchen was adequate for breakfast and snacks. Grocery stores are plentiful. We could have fixed dinner, but there are so many good restaurants to explore. The location is near the airport and Maho Beach, so it's convenient to see the island. The pool was refreshing at the end of the day. The beach isn't really swimmable, but listening to the waves and being able to see the ocean while drinking a cup of coffee was the perfect way to begin the day. The owner (Bob) had someone there to greet us when we arrived. There are instructions posted where needed. The previous guests reported a broken toaster, and Bob had one for us to toast our bagels. Bob lives upstairs, was available, but not overbearing. He provided island recommendations and invited us to watch him perform. We would totally book a return visit. ##### james k. Bob's place was awesome. We loved having the ocean in front of the place. We did use the pool a lot. My husband and I walked around the neighborhood in the mornings before our teenage daughters woke up. You are close to Maho Beach if you wanted to walk there instead of drive. We did have a couple of beach chairs to use while we were there. There were also noodles too. Bob was up, ready, and eager to meet us at the property though we communicated prior to our arrival. We were given a full walk thru and warm welcome. Our stay was peaceful and quiet, which is what we wanted, though celebrating two birthdays. Bob was available for any questions or suggestions without being overbearing or invading our privacy.
