Sint Maarten DIRECT BEACHFRONT WITH POOL! Rates start at 250/nt!! Baywatch at Beacon Hill is a beachfront villa comprised of two totally separate units. The upper level unit is usually occupied by me (the owner) with no children or pets. Your privacy and tranquility is assured as your unit has it's own private driveway and entrance. You will not be sharing any part of the property or amenities with anyone. The entire lower level unit including the private pool, entire pool deck, patio, garden and driveway is yours for your stay. I do not accept rentals for loud parties of events. As you search for your perfect vacation accommodations, please take note that I include amenities like FREE long distance phone service to the US and Canada, FREE WIFI, private parking, full size washer and dryer, all towels and linens, all kitchen supplies, air-conditioning in ALL rooms and lots more. See below. I have over 28 years of hospitality industry experience and my objective is to make you feel like you are being provided quality accommodations and service at a very reasonable rate. The property is always maintained and in tip top shape. You will feel like you are in paradise and I pride myself in knowing my guests are very happy with Baywatch. I invite you to read some of the reviews to get an idea of what the experience of my previous guests have been. As an owner who lives on the property, I am readily available and at your service in case you need anything. I feel this is a big advantage for guests. Many properties have owners or managers who are thousands of miles away and cannot assist in case of an important need. Because of how the property is set up with totally separate driveways and entrances, guests feel as if they have the entire property to themselves. Each year and more often as needed, I evaluate the condition of everything in the unit from towels, sheets and bedding to furniture, major appliances, kitchen supplies and other details to make sure guests feel like they are staying in quality accommodation. Located on a Cul de Sac in the quiet, residential area of Beacon Hill Point, the unit is directly on the beach at Bergeaux Bay. A six minute walk to mile long Simpson Bay Beach and a 12 minute walk to Maho Beach where you will find a multitude of beach bars, restaurants, piano bars, casino, shopping, Las Vegas style entertainment, etc... Mullet Bay , Cupecoy and the French Side beaches are a 3 to 10 minute drive with no traffic to deal with in this area. Baywatch is directly on the beach at Bergeaux Bay. There is often a sandy beach directly in front of the house but on occasion, usually when we have big surf, the sand moves a little and exposes some rocky areas. The beach is great for looking for shells and wave/ocean polished stones. The beach side of the house is on the non-windy side so usually the waters are pretty calm. The house is located on a peninsula and therefore directly across the street are the cliffs that face east and that is where the wind comes from. From these cliffs, there are fantastic views of Simpson Bay Beach, the mountains and over to St Barth's. If you wake up early enough, you will see the sunrise from there as well. The neighborhood is peaceful, quiet and very safe. Beacon Hill Point is a gated community with manned security guards on duty from 6 PM to 6 AM. The rental unit: This 1,200 square foot unit contains 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. In the kitchen all small and large appliances are included. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area with French doors leading to the 1,000 sq. foot terrace directly overlooking the Caribbean Sea and THE POOL. The main living room area containing sofa, love seat, side tables, coffee table, air conditioning, flat screen TV, DVD player also has French doors leading to the terrace. Perfect Caribbean views from both the dining and living room area. A second living area adjacent to the living room is great for reading or just relaxing. Rates are based on the number of guests staying. Base rate is for Double Occupancy. Additional guest rate is $25 PP, per night. Govt Tax is 5%. The unit can be rented for two to six guests. This allows for renters to pay for only the number of guests staying and sleeping space needed, while still enjoying all that the home offers. You will have all of the modern conveniences and yet still feel like you are in the Caribbean. All bedrooms have ceiling fans & a/c. Two bedrooms have queen beds with comfy linens. The third bedroom has two Twin (single) beds instead of a Queen size. All bedding is laundered prior to guest arrival to insure cleanliness. You will have your own private driveway, separate access to the garden & yard area, the pool and to the stairway to the beach. Webber gas BBQ grill, outside shower, full size washer and dryer, FREE long distance phone service to and from the US and Canada, FREE high speed WIFI and American TV are some of the amenities offered at Baywatch. This is a great unit in a great location offered at a fantastic rate. Peaceful and quiet, but yet so close to many attractions and no traffic. Bob is a fantastic host and was always available if we had any questions. This property is very clean and so comfortable! Bob thinks of everything, from outdoor necessities at the private pool, which we loved, to small details like a nightlight in the bathroom. We had everything we needed, and for food shopping, Maho Market is so conveniently close. Having this view from Baywatch is awesome, overlooking the water and with great sunset views. Air conditioning in the property, but we only used the one in the bedroom at night. It's such a joy to open the 2 double patio doors and the windows and have refreshing breezes through the house. The place was fantastic. The deck with the private pool overlooking the ocean was the winner here. A short 5-10 minute walk to Maho. The place reminded me of a cottage. Has a nice rustic feel to it. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean.kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of drinking glasses. Beds were comfortable. Bin was a gracious host who met us and checked us in. He was there if we had any questions but was not intrusive. He leaves you alone unless you need him. I would stay again with Bob next time I visit the island. ##### Paolo M. It was impeccably clean, convenient for driving to restaurants and beaches. My biggest compliment is that everything that you need is there. I hate buying trash bags, paper towels etc for a few days stay. It's all in the house already. Even coffee filters for the drip coffee pot were there. So convenient. I am a sheet snob and the sheets were incredibly soft. All of the linens and furniture were very nice. The only sightly negative I would say is that the WIFi was spotty at times. We had an incredible stay at this spacious house. We enjoyed the back area with chairs, pool, hammock, and the awesome view (all day and at sunset). It was cool to watch planes coming in and going out (the noise was drowned out by the waves). We appreciated laundry facilities and lots of movie channels. I also loved walking across the road to watch the sunrise from the east side of the peninsula. Bob is the most laidback, accommodating owner we've ever met. There weren't even check out instructions, so we were relaxed from the time we arrived up to our late check out the last day. And the price is very reasonable for everything that you get. So much space we especially loved the back porch, which is where we spent every morning having coffee and every evening when we got back from our beach days and dinners. We were surprised that the pool was so nice and cool. We expected it to be really hot, but it wasn’t at all- so refreshing. We felt safe- a security guard was right outside the property. All the beach chairs, an umbrella, lots of Floaties for the pool, a cooler, lots of beach towels - all provided in addition to so many extras that you don’t expect like garbage bags, laundry detergent, dish soap, hand soaps, and even coffee was there for us! Bob was upstairs, but never intrusive and actually was a comfort to know he was close if we needed him. I loved the small beach located down the steps of the property- I loved walking up and down the surf, looking for sea glass and little bits of shells while inspecting all the little marine life on the beach. It was also fun to watch planes from the porch being located so close to Maho and the airport. Plane noise was never an issue. Air conditioner nice and cool, and the washer and dryer were handy. If we come to St Martin with my family, it would be the perfect place to stay again. The suite and deck facing southwest overlooks a vast stretch of ocean; the sunsets were breathtaking and the sound of the waves, delightful. The deck includes a small pool that is wonderfully refreshing. A short set of stairs leads from the deck onto a rock and sand shoreline from which you can enter the ocean to swim. Simpson Bay Beach is a short 5 min walk away – and an ideal place to swim, snorkel or lounge on the beautiful beachfront. The suite is on the main floor of a two-unit villa… Bob is a wonderful host– unobtrusive and yet immediately responsive when we had requests. The unit is clean, and the beds are comfortable. You will not want for anything. We had a Great 8 day stay at this amazing location! You will not want for anything staying here because Bob has thought of it all & has you covered! We loved the location to everything. Maho Market is close for everything and shopped there at least 3 times, but we preferred shopping at the Carrefour Market in Cole Bay for the bigger shopping trips. We used Orders SXM ( Online order or download the app) for food delivery several times on our trip as they have multiple restaurants to choose from & it let us enjoy the wonderful sunsets this place has directly in front of it, every night was a great time watching the sunset & boats going by and you can watch the planes coming in for a landing at the airport close by. We loved having use of the pool, such a great way too cool off and enjoy the views from! Wished we could have seen Bob perform, but maybe next time! ##### Leigh H. Communication was so easy before our trip and during our stay. Bob was out of town but made sure all our needs were met. Chevor checked us in and helped us find a tech store to buy a SIM card for our phone to use while on the island. The house is in the perfect location close to everything. The neighborhood felt very safe. The house and pool were exceptionally clean. Bob has the house stocked with everything you need. We loved drinking coffee sitting on the porch or on the beach every morning. We spent several days on the private beach and at the pool and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. We rented a car and explored the entire island. I would say, we definitely loved the Dutch side most and Bob’s house. When we come back, we’ll definitely stay with Bob again. ##### Merissa F. It was perfect. The property had a cancellation and opened up right when we wanted to visit. The pictures are very accurate. The three bedrooms are on the small side, but it was nice to have a bedroom and bath for each of our boys. The kitchen was adequate for breakfast and snacks. Grocery stores are plentiful. We could have fixed dinner, but there are so many good restaurants to explore. The location is near the airport and Maho Beach, so it's convenient to see the island. The pool was refreshing at the end of the day. The beach isn't really swimmable, but listening to the waves and being able to see the ocean while drinking a cup of coffee was the perfect way to begin the day. The owner (Bob) had someone there to greet us when we arrived. There are instructions posted where needed. The previous guests reported a broken toaster, and Bob had one for us to toast our bagels. Bob lives upstairs, was available, but not overbearing. He provided island recommendations and invited us to watch him perform. We would totally book a return visit. ##### james k. Rob's property is right on the ocean. Every morning I could walk down the short set of stairs from the patio into the water and begin snorkelling. It's rocky so bring water shoes, but the underwater landscape and the fish are endlessly fascinating. Rob is a terrific host. After kindly picking us up at the airport (it was late in the evening) he carefully showed us how everything worked in the property and we were able to settle in comfortably immediately. We especially appreciated having a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Everything worked beautifully. We rented a car and did explore some of the island. Rob thoughtfully provided chairs that we could have taken to the beaches without rental options. In the end, however, we didn't need them as our favourite beach bar was just a short walk away and fully equipped. If you stay at Baywatch and want to find a sandy beach with loungers, umbrellas and a great beach bar with excellent, friendly staff try Dinghy's. ##### Lissa P.
