Fun one night stay!
Fantastic stay at this hotel. Very friendly bar staff and also the locals who were so kind and fun to hang out with. It’s a very friendly bar downstairs with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. Will be back again for sure.

Going to a concert give this a go
Very convenient and affordable. The staff are super friendly, the beer is cold and the meals are great. Shared bathrooms are clean and tidy and the rooms are air conditioned.

Great location & easy to get to the train station. It's a nice pub, food was good & staff are friendly! I'm a light sleeper so I didn't sleep that well but my husband had a great sleep! It's a pub, you have to expect some noise. All in all, we will stay here again!

I went here alone for an event, and I am so glad to have chosen this place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. Clean towels were provided everyday, and biscuits were filled up after they finished. Bathrooms were also cleaned up frequently. After a long day at the event, coming back to the room was such a great feeling, good vibe. Thank you.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was so thankful forthe female staff who gave my daughter some treat and a new set of colour pencils to draw. However, my room #14 has fell short in 3 things: 1) the noise from its air conditioner when it's turned on. (major), 2) there were no channels to be watched from the tv. (minor). 3) Male toilet was downstairs. In general, I am quite satisfied.

During the freezing cold days, I was provided with heating facility and blanket to keep warm which is appreciated. The restroom should have put up sign for "Smoking is strictly prohibited". My room was opposite to the restroom. Tenant often went in for smoking. Fumes came out from under door gap and push into my room forcing me as a non smoker to inhale second hand smokes.

Ladies may whinge that the men’s bathroom is larger than theirs and the aroma of processed food making its way into the hotel bedroom. Parking is at the back but it wasn’t obvious until the kebab shop owner next door pointed it out. Otherwise it’s okay if you can put up with the parramatta road traffic and the 3am mayhem associated with people in the pub.

Very dirty place people smoke in the room and air cons are around 30 years old you can never breathe and unsafe I booked it in around 10pm and moved to other hotel around 2:30am

Really disappointing stay. There was no hot water in the showers for any of the nights we stayed, the road traffic was so loud we couldn’t sleep and our room was double booked. There was also vomit all through the woman's bathroom, which took hours to clean. We won’t be returning.

Most of the staff gave a warm smile and great service, but it would seem they only care for the downstairs area in regards to cleaning. Cleaning was left to one person to clean all the upstairs area but unfortunately he missed alot of areas, including behind toilet doors, outside of toilet bowls, toilet walls and all kitchen surfaces just to mention a few. The fact he has missed areas comes down to a lack of training/supervision from management. I found it strange that there was a cash only policy for the dining menu given we live in a covid world now, I had to do a funds transfer to the owners account. But the food was generous and tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The main issue for me was the office door downstairs that kept slamming every time it was used when staff would enter and exit it. At first I thought it was other guests being inconsiderate of fellow guests, but I later discovered it to be the staff not caring for their sleeping guests upstairs. My bedroom window was dirty and had no flyscreen also had no seal so I felt the cold air on my face through the night even though it was closed.

Good Enough.
This is your typical suburban pub with accommodation upstairs. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. They need to supply a small box of tissues in each room. Fellow guests were almost invisible and no inconvenience at all. Service at the bar, bistro and check-in was very prompt and friendly. Some renovation of the shared bathrooms would be good. It was close to my business appointments, so can't complain about the location. My room (19) was kind of out the back, so I got no noise from Parramatta Road. At 84AUD per night, you do get what you pay for.

We didn’t realise we had booked a “pub” with shared facilities.... so a little worried on arrival.... but Jenny greeted us warmly, showed us our room and the facilities and assured us the bed was comfortable... Our stay was fabulous and the bed was BEAUTIFUL!!! Shared bathroom was no issue. Close to ANZ Stadium with easy train service. Would definitely stay here again!!
